Seattle Opera will perform Daniel Catan's ‘Florencia en el Amazonas.' The set was built for a 1998 production of the work.

SEATTLE — Daniel Catan's 1996 opera, "Florencia en el Amazonas," returns to Seattle for the time since its local debut in 1998. Seattle Opera joined with opera companies in Houston and Los Angeles to commission the piece.
