After Hours: Doors to Paradise reopen on May 16

Paradise Inn, a 91-year-old lodge and restaurant, will soon reopen following a renovation. The National Park Service is building a new visitor center nearby, slated to open by the end of the year.

MOUNT RAINIER NATIONAL PARK — An $18 million project to restore Paradise Inn is nearly complete. The 1917 hotel, a National Historic Landmark, will open on Friday, May 16.
