After Hours: Show of Indian paintings at SAAM

The 1830 watercolor painting, “Jallandharnath and Princess Padmini Fly over King Padam’s Palace,” by Amardas Bhatti, is on display at Seattle Asian Art Museum.

SEATTLE — The Seattle Asian Art Museum has opened a new exhibition, “Garden and Cosmos: The Royal Paintings of Jodhpur,” featuring 58 paintings produced in northwest India between the 17th and 19th centuries.
