SEATTLE — Woodland Park Zoo has released an iPhone application that allows visitors to make the most of their trip. The zoo says the application is the first of its kind.
For 99 cents, users get a GPS-enabled zoo map with “Near Me” recommendations for animal exhibits, play areas, concession stands and restrooms. Other features include animal fact sheets, a daily schedule of zoo activities and a “Friend Finder” for locating other iPhone or iPod Touch users in your group on the zoo grounds.
