GLENWOOD SPRINGS, Colo. (AP) — Vail Mountain has won authorization from the U.S. Forest Service to add a high-speed ski lift, restaurant and maintenance facility, and to upgrade another lift and expand snowmaking.
White River National Forest Supervisor Scott Fitzwilliams said he has signed a record of decision authorizing the projects, all of which are within boundaries of the ski area's permit to use forest land.
