PORTLAND — Portland is to receive $23 million in federal stimulus money to improve streetcar service in the Southwest Waterfront area.
The money is part of $1.5 billion in transportation aid announced Wednesday by U.S. Transportation Secretary Ray LaHood. Portland's project is among 51 nationwide that will share in the aid.
