NEW ORLEANS (AP) — The Louisiana State Museum is using the start of hurricane season to announce a major exhibit that will open this fall.
“Living with Hurricanes: Katrina and Beyond” is a $7.5 million exhibit. Museum officials say it will include exhibits connected to the massive storm that hit almost five years ago and will help visitors understand the storm's impact on Louisiana, the Gulf Coast and the nation.
