Thomas Dausgaard takes over this season as Seattle Symphony’s new music director.

SEATTLE — Tickets are now on sale for the Seattle Symphony's 2019-2020 season, its first featuring new music director Thomas Dausgaard.

From Modest Mussorgsky's fantastical “Pictures at an Exhibition” to the end-of-season Beethoven Festival, the new Seattle Symphony season is not to be missed.

The symphony is one of America's leading symphony orchestras and is internationally acclaimed for its innovative programming and extensive recording history. Since September 2011 it has been led by music director Ludovic Morlot, and this fall principal guest conductor Dausgaard will become the next music director.

The symphony is heard from September through July by more than 500,000 people through live performances and radio broadcasts and performs in Benaroya Hall.

Tickets can be purchased online at http://www.seattlesymphony.org or by calling (206) 215-4747. Benaroya Hall is located at 200 University St. in downtown Seattle.
