After Hours: Suffrage celebration is going digital

A digital Suffrage Special Whistle Stop Tour is being offered this month to explore the history of the suffrage movement in Washington state.

TACOMA — In 1920 after a decades-long battle, the Nineteenth Amendment was ratified, granting women the right to vote. On Nov. 2 of that year, more than eight million women voted in national elections for the first time.
