SEATTLE — Seattle Art Museum is hosting “Our Blue Planet: Global Visions of Water” through May 30. The exhibition features artworks created in 618 A.D. alongside contemporary newly created works, assembled with a goal of creating environmental change. Admission is $32.99.
More than 80 paintings, sculptures, films, photographs, and textiles are on view, drawn from SAM's collections and loans from local collectors. The 74 artists represented hail from 17 countries and seven Native American tribes, making this exhibition a unique opportunity to see how artists around the world grapple with the past, present, and future of water in our world.
