Bike-only weekends in southeast Seattle
SEATTLE — Seattle Parks and Recreation invites everyone in the community to bike, jog or stroll along Lake Washington Boulevard South between Mount Baker Park's beach to Seward Park.
Bicycle Sundays are back and will take place over the course of several weekends this summer. During Bicycle Sunday, a portion of Lake Washington Boulevard will be closed to motorized vehicles from 7 p.m. Friday to 7 a.m. Monday on selected summer weekends through September: June 10-13 and 24-27, July 1-5 and 15-18, Aug. 12-15 and 19-22, Sept. 2-6 and 16-19.
