Deere to invest $180M in plant expansions

    John Deere has announced it will invest nearly $180 million in plant expansions to meet rising global demand for its tractors, such as its 9430 high-horsepower tractor shown here. The tractors are engineered for large-scale field operations and construction site scraper applications.

    MOLINE, Ill. (AP) — Deere & Co. said last week it will invest nearly $180 million in U.S. and Brazil plant expansions to meet rising global demand for its tractors and other farm machinery.
