Kenworth hybrid tractor qualifies for tax credit

  • The U.S. Department of Treasury and Internal Revenue Service recently certified the tax credit eligibility of Kenworth T370 Class 7 hybrid tractors.

    The T370 hybrid tractor is available up to 55,000 pounds for local haul applications, including beverage, general freight and grocery distribution.

    Purchasers of certain Kenworth medium-duty diesel-electric hybrid tractors in the United States are now eligible for a tax credit of $9,000, the maximum available, under a qualified hybrid motor vehicle credit offered by the federal government.
