The Watershed Co. hired Heather Rogers as a planner/geomorphologist, Devin Melville as an environmental planner, and said Grayson Morris has become a licensed landscape architect. Rogers has seven years of experience and will support the team with natural resource assessment, planning, research and permitting. Melville is an environmental planner with four years of experience. She assists the firm in developing technical documents for environmental plans and policies, permitting and natural resource mitigation planning. Morris is a landscape architect and SITES Accredited Professional. He is also a member of the Landscape Architecture Professional Advisory Council at the University of Washington. His design experience ranges from large-scale industrial ecological systems to urban parks and streetscapes. Watershed provides natural resources assessment, mitigation and restoration design, environmental planning and permitting, stormwater monitoring, arborist and landscape architecture services

AAA Washington

Wilson

Bellevue-based AAA Washington, provider of emergency road service in Washington and North Idaho has promoted Carrie Wilson to chief financial officer, following the retirement of CFO John Iwanski. Wilson has been AAA Washington's director of finance since joining the company in March 2019. Prior to AAA Washington, Wilson worked as a CFO consultant through CFO Selections for various small to mid-sized public and private companies in the greater Seattle area. Prior to consulting work, Wilson was the CFO of Zetec. She started her career at PricewaterhouseCoopers. In June, Wilson will join the Junior Achievement of Washington Board. Wilson received a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration with a focus in accounting from the University of Washington's Foster School of Business. She is also certified as a CPA in Washington State.

Frazier Healthcare Partners

Frazier Healthcare Partners announced that Jeremy Janson and Shyamal Swami have been promoted to vice president on the growth buyout team. Janson joined Frazier in 2016, and prior to that was an analyst in the investment banking group at Robert W. Baird in Chicago. In 2018 he joined Frazier portfolio company Leiters, a manufacturer of compounded sterile pharmaceuticals, as their director of strategic initiatives before re-joining the investment team in 2019 as a senior associate. Swami also joined Frazier Healthcare in 2016. Prior to that, Swami was an analyst in the healthcare investment banking group at Harris Williams in San Francisco, where he worked with middle-market companies on a variety of corporate finance and mergers and acquisitions engagements. Founded in 1991, Frazier Healthcare Partners is a provider of growth and venture capital to healthcare companies. Frazier has offices in Seattle and Menlo Park, CA, and invests across the United States, Canada and Europe.

ReadySub

Tyler Technologies has acquired Seattle-based ReadySub, a cloud-based platform that assists school districts with absence tracking, filling substitute teacher assignments, and automating essential payroll processes. ReadySub serves approximately 1,000 school districts across the United States, approximately 20 of which overlap with Tyler's 2,000 school district clients. Founded by David Vail and Vince Zanella, ReadySub management and staff will become part of Tyler's organization and its current employees are expected to remain working remotely. Tyler Technologies provides integrated software and technology services to the public sector, and is headquartered in Plano, Texas.

Boone

Renee Boone joined Seattle-based Heliotrope Architects to continue her role as a project manager and expand into the firm's leadership. She has led residential and hospitality projects and is now leading two house projects in north Seattle and Cle Elum. Boone has practiced architecture for 26 years with experience in houses and luxury hospitality. She has worked for Olson Kundig, The Miller Hull Partnership, Cutler Anderson Architects and Lane Williams Architects.

goCstudio

Long

Sarah Long joined Seattle-based goCstudio as an architectural associate. She has worked at Olson Kundig in Seattle and a Boston architectural firm as well as in environmental conservation. At goCstudio, she is working on houses in Seattle, Eastern Washington, the San Juan Islands and Bend, Oregon, as well as two new restaurants and a winery addition. She holds a master's in architecture from the University of Washington and a bachelor's in architectural studies from Tufts University.

Veer Architecture

Wadhwani

Lavina Wadhwani is now a principal at Bellevue-based Veer Architecture. She will oversee Revit standards and keep the office updated with Building and Accessibility Code standards. She will join senior principal Kent Smutny in developing and diversifying the company's architectural portfolio. Wadhwani is an architect with over 20 years of experience in multifamily and office building projects. Her work on the LEED Silver-certified 123-4th Apartments in Olympia was recognized with an invitation to speak at the AIA Symposium organized by the Committee of the Environment. She was a project manager at Veer, HDL+T and Baylis Architects.

LRS Architects

Startt

Sanada

Portland, Oregon-based LRS Architects said it has become the largest women-owned architecture and interior design firm in the Pacific Northwest with the recent addition of Janice Sanada and Michelle Startt to the majority ownership group. Sanada is managing principal and leads the senior living studio. She joined LRS in 2003 and was named principal in 2013. Startt is managing principal. She joined LRS in 1999 and was named principal 2014. She is principal of the interiors department and the office + workplace studio, where she guides designers through projects in the commercial and public market sectors.
