CB Commercial

CB Commercial Real Estate Group, Inc., has announced the promotion of Paul Jerue and Brian Adams to first vice president and vice president respectively. Jerue has been with CB Commercial for 8 years, specializing in high-tech sales and leasing in the Bellevue office. Adams has been with CB Commercial's Bellevue office for almost 12 years. He specializes in Industrial and High-Tech sales and leasing in the greater Eastside marketplace.

Sound Ventures Inc.

Stephanie Klappenbach has been selected as vice president for Bellevue-based Sound Ventures Inc. The newly organized company focuses on the development of commercial, office, retail and industrial build-to-suit properties and provide brokerage and investment services for real estate clients. Klappenbach has extensive experience in commercial build-to-suite development, management and building sales, including the recent $11,000 sale of Centennial Center in Kent.

Mountain Valley Center opens

Mountain Valley Center, a grocery-anchored neighborhood shopping center, will hold its Grand Opening today. It was developed by R & R Properties and the Zemp family to fill the good and services needs of North Bend and surrounding Snoqualmie Valley residents. The Grand Opening will mark the completion of the first phase of development consisting of 68,712 square feet. Besides Safeway and Starbucks, other tenants include Andre's Cleaners & Shoe Repair, Blimpie Subs & Salads, Blockbuster Video, Coldwell Banker Bain, Hair Masters, Mitzel's American Kitchen, Mountain Valley Office Products, Romio's, Taco Time, and Washington Mutual. Arby's and Mt. Si Shell will be added later.

Wallace Properties, Inc.

John Marhall has joined Wallace Properties, Inc., in Bellevue as an associate broker specializing in property management. Marshall is an IREM Certified Property Manager candidate and was previously employed by the Resolution Trust Corporations an asset specialist.

Northwest Lodging

Seattle-based Northwest Lodging, Inc., which has become one of the largest hotel management companies in the West since its inception in 1990, announced the first wave of a planned expansion program by assuming operating control of a former Days Inn hotel in El Paso, Texas. The 99-room hotel is located at 500 Executive Center Blvd. Northwest Lodging currently operates 24 full and limited-service hotels and inns throughout California, Oregon, Washington, Nevada, and now Texas.

Subert-Gregory, Woodstrom & Assoc.

Michael Suber and Bruce Woodstrom have joined forces in a new venture to bring their combines expertise and resources to major projects throughout the Northwest and across the country. Subert-Gregory & Woodstrom began operating this month from joint offices on Mercer Island and have moved ahead on significant assignments for such clients as Trammel Crow Residential with projects in Washington and Oregon. While focusing on real estate projects in the Northwest, Subert-Gregory & Woodstrom also work with a variety of clients in transportation, finance and consumer products. The firm is affiliated with Ruder Finn of New York, expanding its capabilities to markets throughout the country and around the world.

John Paul Mitchell Associates has acquired three new sales people that specialize in commercial property sales. Irene Mitchell, Sophia Wong and Lin Burt have joined the company whose offices are in the Metropolitan Park, West Tower, in Downtown Seattle.
