Eddie Bauer

Redmond-based Eddie Bauer has appointed Michelle Clements vice president for human resources. Clements is in charge of recruitment, organizational development, training, diversity, benefits and worklife for the company's approximately 17,000 associates nationwide.

Wells Fargo

Wells Fargo's Private Client Services Group has hired Richard Aylen as a financial consultant to provide investment, brokerage, trust and private banking services to individual investors in the Puget Sound region. Aylen formerly served as a financial advisor at Prudential Securities.

Yergen & Meyer

Mike Hawkey has been named the recipient of Yergen and Meyer's outstanding business development staff award. Hawkey serves as director of the construction practice group for the Portland-based accounting and consulting firm.

American Heart Association

Linda Dickson recently joined the American Heart Association's Northwest Affiliate as the new vice president for major gifts and planned giving serving Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Oregon and Washington. Dickson formerly served as founder and executive director of St. Paul's Hospital Foundation.

Crowley Maritime

Charles Nalen, vice president of environmental, safety and quality assurance for Seattle's Crowley Marine Services, will direct these programs under contract to other Crowley Maritime Corp. subsidiaries worldwide, including Crowley American Transport and Crowley Logistics.

Puget Sound Blood Center

Jonathon G. Drachman, M.D., has been appointed investigator in the research division of the Puget Sound Blood Center. Drachman will continue to serve as assistant professor in the University of Washington's Department of Medicine's division of hematology.

H2K Inc.

Gary Henderson, Wendy Kennedy and Garrett Kuhlman have formed H2K Inc. and have opened offices at 1904 Third Ave., Suite 102 in downtown Seattle. The design group will focus on private, multi-family residential and hospitality work.

Shannon & Associates

Shannon & Associates, a Kent accounting firm, in conjunction with the Washington Society of Certified Public Accountants, is participating in "Operation Can Hunger." Shannon & Associates will donate one can of food to a local food bank for each individual tax return prepared. Last year, the campaign raised more than $65,000 in donations for food banks. Donations of food items or cash can be brought to the offices at 1851 Central Place South, Ste. 225, Kent.
