Continental Savings Bank

Continental Savings Bank recently named 25 loan officers to its President's Club. Eight of them were further honored in the Circle of Excellence for reaching outstanding production totals for 1998. Local officers David Doherty, Cindi McMullen and Les Allen of Bellevue and Eva McWilliams, Shari Wear, Danny Robinson, Tom Allison and David Hatlen of Seattle were named to the President's Club. Hatlen and Allen were also named to the Circle of Excellence.

Communications Product Development

Communications Product Development, a Vancouver-based manufacturer and marketer of a high-volume call processing platform, has appointed Stephen Costanzo general manager of its international and domestic sales force. Costanzo formerly served as director of sales and marketing for Encodex, an Oregon-based software consultant firm.

Washington State University

Law Offices of Annalee Cobbett

Annalee Cobbett, a Seattle lawyer, was recently named to the National Registry of Who's Who. Cobbett practices land use, consumer rights and business law and founded the FarmCity Alliance, a non-profit organization dedicated to preserving farmland in Washington state.

W&H Pacific

Clell H. Gibson has been named vice president of the energy and communications group at W&H Pacific. He has more than 20 years experience in the telecommunications industry, and joined W&H Pacific four years ago. Since then the firm has expanded its telecommunications business throughout the U.S. Prior to joining W&H Pacific, Gibson served as US WEST Communications' regional manager for central and eastern Oregon, responsible for lobbying efforts and marketing as well as design of communication systems and network architecture. He is a member of the Oregon Telecommunications Association, the American Planning Association, the Westside Economic Alliance of Portland and the Oregon Public Ports Association. Michael L. Marleau has joined the firm as project manager in the energy and communications group. Prior to joining W&H Pacific, Marleau worked as project manager at PacifiCorp in Portland, were he developed and managed electrical substation automation and power quality projects. He has also served as senior project engineer and supervisor for General Physics Corp. At W&H Pacific, Marleau will manage the new ISO 9000 project for the Portland office. Janet Prichard has joined the Seattle office as regional marketing specialist. She has owned and managed her own consulting communications company and served as public relations and media relations director at Pacific Lutheran University in Tacoma. She is currently a member of the Pierce County Advisory Board for U.S. Senator Slade Gorton and Pierce County Executive Doug Sutherland. She has served as a member of the Pierce County Economic Development planning council and was on the board of directors of the Tacoma-Pierce County Chamber of Commerce. Katherine A. Keegan has been promoted to director of administration and accounting at the Bend, Ore., office of W&H Pacific. She has been with the firm for two years.

JPC

Ann Derr and Dennis Dieni have been named partners of JPC, Inc. They have both been with the planning, interior design and facilities management firm since 1991. JPC has also hired five new employees. David Ellis is an architect with extensive experience in renovation of high-tech office facilities. Colleen Hazelrigs, also an architect, is now at work on tenant improvements at Carillon Point and at Microsoft sales offices in Tampa, Kansas City and Chicago. Larry Coleman has 22 years of experience in residential, restoration and commercial architecture, and is now at work on a new Des Moines Ace Hardware and ONYX Software headquarters. CJ DeLeon, a graduate of the University of Hawaii, is currently working on the Host Marriott concessions at Sea-Tac International Airport. Jim Holtz, John Gibbons, Matt Lundh, Matt Rodda, Lucy McCullough, Tracy Lorelli, Kate Gaudet and Kim Wilson have recently joined JPC's Redmond office, and Jason Fowers, and Rachoat Wannakanok have joined the Seattle office.

Parametrix

Diane Lenius has been promoted from senior project manager to assistant office manager in the Bremerton office of Parametrix. She joined the firm in 1989 as a design engineer in the Bremerton office. Katherine Smith of Parametrix received the Campaign Coordinator of the Year award from United Way in the engineering category.

Reid Middleton

Tony Dollar has joined Reid Middleton of Everett as marketing writer. He comes to the firm from San Francisco, where he worked as a corporate staff writer for United Behavioral Health. Alyson Knappe Davis has joined the firm as marketing coordinator. She comes to the firm from Lakewood School District, where she taught high school English. She also worked as a freelance writer and editor in Spokane.

CNA

Tamae Satsu has joined CNA Architecture as an interior designer. She recently worked in Japan as a designer for Takanaka Corp., receiving several design awards. Christa Clark Jansen has also joined the firm as an interior designer. She was most recently with Signature Environments, where she designed several dental clinics.

Bush, Roed & Hitchings

John Weed has been promoted to engineering department manager at Bush, Roed & Hitchings. He joined the firm in 1984, and has overseen the ongoing development of Canyon Park Business Center in Bothell. Brent Cummings has been promoted to assistant engineering department manager. He joined the firm in 1991, and is now at work on several commercial development projects in western Washington. Pedro DeGuzman has passed the Washington state professional engineer's examination, and has been promoted to project manager. He joined the firm in 1998, and his current projects include Safeway Plaza in Duvall and Crystal Creek Center in Bothell. John Lierman, who has been with the firm since 1974, has been promoted to senior engineering designer. Current projects include East Lake Sammamish Retail Center and Tambank Estates. Patt Gydesen has been promoted to senior engineering designer. He joined the firm in 1985, and is now technical lead on several retail development projects.

Dull Olson Weekes

Architect/designer Jeff Schnabel and architect/project manager Keith Johnson have been named associates at Dull Olson Weekes in Portland. Schnabel's recent projects include Alpha Alternative High School in Gresham, Ore., and Johnson's include Tigard High School Gym Expansion and Pleasant Hill Elementary School.

Trade-Marx Sign & Display

Kathy Johnston has been promoted to vice president and principal for Trade-Marx Sign & Display, a Seattle-based fabricator and installer of signs and environmental graphics. Johnston formerly served as sales manager.

Lane Powell Spears Lubersky

Brian D. Zeringer has joined the law firm of Lane Powell Spears Lubersky in the Seattle office as an associate. Zeringer concentrates his practice in product liability, real estate and commercial litigation.

Evergreen State College

The Evergreen State College recently appointed Nancy Taylor academic dean for faculty hiring and development. Craig McLaughlin has been promoted to director of college relations. McLaughlin formerly served as publications manager.

EyeWire

EyeWire, a provider of visual content for business communications, recently appointed Charles Mauzy as vice president of business development. Mauzy will head EyeWire's new product and business development office in Seattle. Mauzy formerly served as director of media development at Corbis. Drina Lazar was recently promoted to vice president of content development. Lazar formerly served as director of product development.
