Pinnacle

Seattle-based Pinnacle Realty Management Co., has added staff to boost its California presence. David C. Justesen is the new vice president of brokerage services for Northern California and Mark Abrahams is the Bay Area investment manager. In 16 years, Justesen has raised more than $12 million from private investors and sold more than $200 million worth of multifamily properties. He was with United Capital Investments in Sacramento and Fremont, Calif. Abrahams was a senior regional property manager for six years with FPI in Sacramento. "California is a focal point for Pinnacle because the state has tremendous growth opportunities," said Scott Mencaccy, Pinnacle's West Region president. Pinnacle is the nation's largest manager of multifamily housing with 85,000 units and 9.8 million square feet of commercial space nationwide.

Keller Williams Realty

Julie and Todd Peterson of The Peterson Team have affiliated with Keller Williams Realty's Bellevue office. Longtime South King County residents, the Petersons have been representing and consulting with home buyers and sellers in Kent, Renton, Maple Valley and Covington fir several years. The affiliation is the latest for Austin, Texas-based Keller Williams, which plans a significant expansion in the Northwest.

HomeGain.com

HomeGain.com on Thursday said thousands of home sellers have registered on the site since consumer marketing began in Seattle and Sacramento, Calif., just over a week ago. Some agents received as many as 18 proposals during the week. Based on average home sales, HomeGain.com officials said one of every 10 homes for sale in Seattle and one in four in Sacramento are going through the Emeryville, Calif.-based HomeGain.com. "Home sellers are responding to HomeGain.com faster than any other Web site in real estate history," said Bradley Inman, founder and CEO of HomeGain.com.

Windermere Real Estate

Windermere has been ranked the fourth largest residential real estate company in the nation by the magazine National Relocation and Real Estate. In the publication's ranking of 300 firms, Windermere was the only Northwest company that made the top 10. It was fourth in transactions (34,941) and sales volume ($8.5 million). The report comes on the heels of two other national reports in which Windermere was ranked the largest and second largest real estate company in the country by REAL Trends and The Realty Alliance, respectively. Each publication has different ranking criteria. Windermere is the largest Northwest real estate company with 180 offices and more than 4,800 agents in Washington, Oregon and Idaho. In other news, all 180 Windermere Real Estate offices will close today for the 15th annual Windermere Community Service Day. Nearly 5,000 agents and staff will work on neighborhood improvement projects in the Northwest. Also, Kristi Yenter and Bill Calhoun have joined the Windermere Queen Anne office. Yenter had been director of social services at Vencor in Seattle, and Calhoun worked in the retail industry in Texas.

Lynnwood Mortgage Corp.

Steve Flaherty has joined Lynnwood Mortgage Corp., as a senior loan officer at the Everett branch. He has severn years' experience in the mortgage business and has worked for Phoenix Mortgage and Great Western Bank.

Norris, Beggs & Simpson

Natalie Price, most recently regional marketing director for Norris, Beggs & Simpson, has moved to the regional real estate firm's brokerage department as a sales associate. She will work with Craig E. Hill, vice president of Norris, Beggs & Simpson's Capital Asset Group, assisting clients with acquisition, refinancing and disposition of high-grade investment properties.

Marcus & Millichap

Santa Monica Shores LTD has bought another Kirkland apartment, but this one didn't set a price record. Santa Monica Shores purchased the 122-unit Juanita Springs Apartments, 12606 100th Ave. N.E., for $12,475,000, or $102,254 per unit. The company recently set the Eastside price-per-unit record when it bought the 17-unit Royal Concerto Apartments, 408 Second Ave., for $6.65 million, or $162,195 per unit. Juanita Springs LP was the seller on the most recent transaction. Kenny Dudunakis of Marcus & Millichap brokered the deal, representing Santa Monica Shores.

NALS of Washington... the Association for Legal Professionals is the new name for the association formerly known as the Washington Association for Legal Support Professionals. There are currently 13 chapters in Washington.

Esterline Technologies

Robert D. George was recently promoted to vice president and chief financial officer at Esterline Technologies, a Bellevue-based manufacturer of engineered products for the commercial aircraft, aerospace, and defense industries. George formerly served as treasurer and controller. Robert W. Stevenson is retiring after 31 years with Esterline.

Medtronic Physio-Control

Medtronic Physio-Control, a Redmond-based cardiac defibrillator, pacemaker and vital-sign assessment devices manufacturer, will receive the 1999 Washington State Quality Award at the fifth annual awards banquet June 24 at the Bell Harbor Conference Center in Seattle. The award is given to organizations that have implemented and achieved performance excellence.

E'OLA International

Dr. Lester Griffith, co-founder of Bastyr University, was recently hired as medical director of nutrition and health sciences at E'OLA International, a St. George, Utah-based nutritional health company.

Greater Duwamish Business Council

The Greater Duwamish Business Council was recently formed by the amalgamation of four business associations, including SODO Business Association, Georgetown Business Association, South Park Business Association and the Environmental Coalition of South Seattle. The group will create a unified forum for south Seattle business associations to identify, discuss and act upon issues of safety, economics and enhancement for the area.

Michaelo Espresso

Michael Myers, president of Fremont's Michaelo Espresso, won the recent national competition to provide the 13 fully automated espresso machines for Safeco Field.

Innerwest Advertising & Public Relations

Lisa Stovall was recently hired as a media director at Innerwest Advertising & Public Relations. Stovall formerly served as advertising manager for the Silver Legacy Resort Casino in Reno.
