KIRKLAND — Kenworth Truck Co. has promoted Geoff Viguers to the position of Kenworth dealer training manager.
Viguers joined Kenworth in 1979. He has held numerous positions in the marketing, pricing, and training organizations within Kenworth Truck Co.
During the past three years, he provided training and product support to the Kenworth dealer network encompassing over 275 dealer locations. Viguers has a bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of California at Santa Barbara and an MBA from California State University at Hayward.

Seattle Coffee Co. has added four to its management team. Sheri Miksa is vice president of the retail group, William Stewart is vice president of development services, Rick Bell is vice president of global services and Dan Gallik is vice president of manufacturing and distribution. The additions will concentrate on the company's development of new cafes as well as focusing on growth through all channels of distribution, including restaurants, hotels, casinos, grocery and e-commerce.
Gary Kaplan, chairman and CEO of Virginia Mason Medical Center, was recently appointed chair of the Medical Group Management Association (MGMA). The MGMA is the nation's leading organization representing medical group practices. Kaplan has been with Virginia Mason for 20 years and continues to practice internal medicine.
WatchMark Corp., a Bellevue-based provider of software for wireless telecommunications service assurance, appointed Todd Eliason as CEO. Eliason brings more than 20 years experience in the telecommunications industry to WatchMark, including senior leadership positions at GTE Corp. and Contel Cellular.
Micropatha, a Bellevue-based technology asset management services and products company, named Genevieve Malone as Northeast regional sales manager. Malone is responsible for establishing contacts and relationships with Micropath’s business partners in the Northeast US region. Prior to joining Micropath, she was employed with IBM for over 21 years.

Avista Corp. subsidiary Avista Advantage, a Spokane-based provider of Internet-based facility management and commodity aggregation information services, has reached an agreement with EnerTech Capital Partners for an investment that includes capital, access to resources, and support and counsel. The investment will be used to help refine and market Avista Advantage's suite of facility cost management service offerings and concludes the first round of private equity financing.
Redmond-based NetUpdate, a provider of mortgage software for the Internet, announced business arrangements with Fannie Mae, Dexma and The Performance Group. Fannie Mae has selected the company's LoanUpdate for integration with Fannie Mae's Desktop Originator on the Web. NetUpdate and Dexma will combine technologies to create an offering (for loan originators and lending companies) that increases efficiency and provides online loan status information for borrowers and partners participating in the loan process. An alliance with The Performance Group will offer customers an implementation package that includes transaction management products bundled with installation and business performance management services from TPG.
Loudeye Technologies, a Seattle-based provider of digital media solutions for audio and video on the Internet, announced the appointment of Brad Berg as chief financial officer. Berg brings 21 years of finance experience to Loudeye, including over 10 years as a financial officer at publicly traded companies. Prior to joining Loudeye, Berg served as executive vice president and chief financial officer of Redhook Ale Brewery.
