Shandwick International, a provider of reputation management services for technology-based clients, has promoted three employees in its Seattle office. The promotions included Audrey O'Kelley to account supervisor, Chadd Haase and Ann Johnson to senior account executives. Before joining Shandwick, O'Kelley owned and operated Interactive Insights in Chicago and Haase was an executive producer for KGW-TV in Oregon. Johnson has been with the company for more than two years.

Office of the Governor

Gov. Gary Locke has named Catherine Shaffer to the King County Superior Court. Shaffer won the post in the general election on Nov. 7, and is scheduled to begin her elected term on Jan. 8. Locke appointed her to fill the vacancy left by retiring Judge Richard Ishikawa. The appointment will allow her to begin serving right away to help relieve congestion on the court’s docket.

Elliott, Ostrander & Peterson

Bonaparte, Elliott, Ostrander & Preston, a law firm with offices in Seattle and Portland, Ore., has changed its name to Elliott, Ostrander & Peterson. The firm also announced that Karen Wetherell Davis is now a shareholder with the firm.

Cascade Designs

Cascade Designs, a Seattle-based manufacturer of outdoor, medical and travel equipment, has made several changes to its organizational structure. Michele Porter, former bike market manager, has been named promotions and sponsorship manager. Bill Condradt, recently hired as the Western sales manager, will share responsibilites of managing the bicycle market accounts with the Eastern sales manager, Schuyler Horton. The company has created a new business-to-business department and Chris Amerson, current Canadian sales manager, has been named the manager of that new department. Kelly Smith, formerly senior LAN administrator, will work with Amerson as the business-to-business technology manager. Deborah Rutter will expand her current role as export sales manager to include management of the Canadian market

Teresa Fesler joined Wallace Properties of Bellevue as bookkeeper. The company said she has an extensive accounting background is working on her degree at Bellevue Community College.


Trammell Crow

Jim Figel was promoted in Trammell Crow Co.'s Seattle offices to senior vice president and director of transaction services.

O'Connor Consulting Group

Five people joined O'Connor Consulting Group, a Seattle appraisal firm. Randy Gilliam comes with 20 years of commercial and residential experience. Chris Berger brings 10 years in office, industrial and retail. Deane Draper comes from residential and is moving into commercial. Reni Lestari recently received her masters degree in economics from the University of Washington and will focus on multifamily.

Pacific Northwest Bank

Stephanie Martin became a residential loan officer for Snohomish County at Seattle-based Pacific Northwest Bank.

Meanwhile, the bank's parent company Pacific Northwest Bancorp, which also owns four other banks, has begun planning to convert them all to the single Pacific Northwest Bank name. The other banks are InterWest, Pioneer and Kittitas Valley and Bank of Tukwilla. Together they total 55 offices in 16 counties.

Nine area real estate professionals completed the continuing education required to receive the Certified Commercial Investment Member designation from the Commercial Investment Real Estate Institute in Chicago: Jacquelyn Davis of Washington Mutual Bank, John Emanuels of the Regency Group, Jeff Forsberg of Puget Sound Properties, Steve Franceschina of Martin Smith Inc., Vanessa Herzog of Colliers International, Larry Hoff of Coldwell Bank All American, Greg Meinhold of Pacific Hotel, Troy Muljat of Muljat Group and Kevin Suther of GMAC Commercial Mortgage Corp.
