Foushee

Bellevue's Foushee and Associates has promoted Dave Trulson to project manager in its tenant improvement department. Trulson has been with the company for over two years. He holds a bachelor's degree in accounting from Western Washington University and has a family background in the construction industry.

Holaday-Parks

Holaday-Parks has expanded its controls division by adding Baron Kofoed as security specialist/account executive. Kofoed has 17 years of security systems experience, with extensive working knowledge of stand-alone and networked access control, CCTV, intrusion, fire, intercom, locking hardware and other related products.

Governor's Lifesaving Award

Three recipients of the Governor's Lifesaving Award were honored for saving a co-worker's life with CPR. Honored by Governor Gary Locke were: John Edwards, Dan Krewson and Margaret Marion. The three are employed at US Marine in Arlington and are credited with saving the life of Ed Petrin who suffered a heart attack on the job.

Pet's Choice

Pet's Choice of Bellevue has promoted Dr. Robert Featherston to chief medical officer and Rich Finlay to chief operating officer. Featherston previously served as executive vice president of operations. Finlay will continue as chief financial officer, secretary and treasurer with the addition of his new position.

Alpha Cine

Don Jensen is the new president of Alpha Cine Laboratory. He previously served as vice president and general manager of Pinnacle Productions International. Jensen will replace Bob Lancaster who will continue with the company as a member of the board of directors.

KSKN-TV

Dallas-based, Belo has completed its purchase plan of Spokane's KSKN-TV, a WB/UPN affiliate. Under a previous agreement, Belo has been operating KSKN and now will purchase the station at a cost of $5 million in cash. Belo also owns Spokane's CBS affiliate, KREM-TV as well as KING-TV, KONG-TV, Tacoma's KGW-TV, Portland's KTVB-TV and the Cable News Network.

Association of Washington Business

The Association of Washington Business has announced the recipients of its Heavy Lifter awards. Garry Fujita, Davis Wright Tremaine; Jan Gee, Gee & Gee Public Affairs; Doug Hurley, CH2M Hill; Doug Kite, Boeing; and Jack McRae, Premera Blue Cross. The award honors members who have given a considerable amount of time and effort to the association.

Seattle Repertory Theatre

David Tucker II is the new publicist at the Seattle Repertory Theatre. He is filling the position previously held by Jeff Fickes who was promoted to associate director of communications. Tucker previously was the associate director of publicity for the Old Globe Theatre in San Diego.

The Bon Marché

The Bon Marché will host a grand opening of its new store in Wenatchee on Nov. 1. The 87,000-square-foot store is located at the Wenatchee Valley Mall. The ribbon cutting ceremony and other festivities will begin at 9 a.m.

New York Life

John B. Nichols has been appointed sales manager of the Tacoma general office of New York Life. Nichols has been with the company since May of 1999.

Bastyr University

The new officers of the Bastyr University Board of Trustees are: Randy J. Dennin, vice president global business development for Capsugel, a division of Pfizer, as chair; Linda Nordstrom, president of Northstream Development, as vice chair; Michael Murray, ND, director of product development and education, natural factors, and managing director of BioMedica, as secretary; and Don Murphy, partner and director of tax practice with Peterson Sullivan, continues as treasurer. This September, Bastyr University has topped enrollment records at its Kenmore.

Asia-Europe-Americas Bank

Lisa DuClos has been promoted to vice president, operations manager at Asia-Europe-Americas Bank.
