Architectural Werks of Kirkland announced that Janet Monda has become a principal with the firm. She joined Architectural Werks in 1996 and is involved in the firm's ongoing work in the medical and veterinary fields. Also joining the firm as project managers are Naomi Sutton and Adela Santisteban.

Prior to joining HDR, Kinoshita held positions with the Washington State Department of Transportation, the U.S. Corps of Engineers, the Washington State Department of Fish and Wildlife, the state Department of Revenue, and private consulting firms.
HDR also recently hired Paul Bott as a regional bridge manager and senior project manager in its Bellevue office. Bott has more than 24 years of experience in a variety of structure types including: long-span bridges, superstructure for concrete segmental, cable-stayed, prestressed and post-tensioned concrete, reinforced concrete, steel and timber bridges. He is currently the lead structural engineer for the Alaska Department of Transportation on the Gravina Access Project in Ketchikan.
Mary Ann Carlson joins HDR as a senior marketing coordinator. She will be responsible for marketing services in the environmental and resource management group.

T.E., Inc., a Seattle mechanical and electrical consulting firm, announced the promotion of Hardy Widjaja to assistant electrical department head. Widjaja has been employed with T.E., Inc. for four years.
Sho Dozono is the 2004 recipient of the DePreist Award for Excellence from Volunteers of America Oregon. The award recognizes individuals whose leadership has helped to build community and legacy. Dozono’s selection was based on his contributions as a business and civic leader. Dozono is a past commissioner of the Port of Portland and is currently chair emeritus of the Portland Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce. Volunteers of America Oregon was founded in 1896.
Fred Holubik has been promoted to executive vice president and chief credit officer for Northwest Business Bank. Holubik joined the bank in 2002 as senior vice president and credit officer. He previously held positions in Seattle with Rainier Bank and Key Bank.
Marian Scott has joined EvergreenBancorp as branch manager for its new Federal Way office. Scott was previously with Woodstone Credit Union as sales and retail operations manager. EvergreenBank currently has three offices in Seattle, Lynnwood and Bellevue. The Federal Way office is located at 1300 S. 320th St. and will open in mid September.
Gary Feldbau, MD, joined Community Health Plan of Washington as senior vice president and chief medical officer. Feldbau was most recently medical director of Group Health Cooperative of Puget Sound, and president of Group Health Permanente, a professional corporation of health professionals that contracts with Group Health. Community Health Plan of Washington provides managed care for more than 200,000 patients in Washington.
The UPS Store at 2020 Maltby Rd. in Thrasher's Corner opened recently. The store offers shipping and freight services, postal services, copying, document finishing, design and printing, and office and packaging supplies.
The Bellevue Entrepreneur Center is looking for Eastside small businesses for free business consulting help. Approximately 15 businesses will receive consulting assistance by teams of faculty, students and industry advisors from the University of Washington Bothell, Bellevue Community College and City University. The center is a nonprofit partnership of local governments, higher education, community organizations and private enterprise designed to help small businesses succeed.
