Jenika Olson and Bretta Vigue were named sales managers for the Sheraton Seattle Hotel & Towers. Previously, Olson worked in sales for Columbia Hospitality in Seattle and has been a real estate agent for Prudential Northwest Realty. Vigue was a sales manager at the Mayflower Park Hotel in Seattle and at the Coeur d'Alene Resort in Idaho.
The American Society for Industrial Security International designated Bart Pestarino, executive vice president of Alldata Shredding, a board-certified physical security professional. Alldata Shredding is an Anacortes-based information destruction contractor.
Sterling Savings Bank, a Spokane-based stock savings association, promoted Cathy Keener to assistant vice president. Keener joined Sterling in 2001 as the Bellevue branch manager.
Washington State Bank named Chuck Perry vice president, commercial lending and Ben Pulmano commercial loan officer. Perry is a former president of the Fife Chamber of Commerce and the Fife Rotary and Pulmano is a recent graduate of Northwest Intermediate Commercial Lending School. Washington State Bank is located in Federal Way.

Sequoyah Electric recently hired Bill Polis as director of business development. Polis has over 18 years of experience in the construction industry.
The Associated General Contractors Northern District is launching a new construction education program to bring awareness of the industry to K-12 students. The program will kick off with Feb. 11 and 25 visits to local high schools. Project managers and craft workers will have lunch with the students and discuss construction careers.
