Portland nonprofit Self Enhancement named Sandra Koelle-Stewart development director. Koelle-Stewart will work on fundraising for the group, which has a yearly budget of nearly $7 million. Self Enhancement helps more than 2,000 young people through after-school and summer programs.
Joe Krumbach of Countrywide Home Loans wholesale division has been elected 2005-2006 president of the Seattle Mortgage Bankers Association, a real estate lending association. Krumbach has been in the mortgage industry since 1990 and with Countrywide Home Loans for six years.
A franchised computer-support business, Geeks On Call, is set to open three more branches in Seattle and three more in Portland by the end of this year. Seattle franchisee Josh Keeler has 14 years of experience running restaurants and an acupuncture practice. Portland franchisee Terry Furtado's 20 years of high-tech experience include work at Intel. Norfolk, Va.-based Geeks On Call provides on-site computer services at homes and small businesses.

Sandie Pope has returned to Callison Architecture after a brief period as retail director at NBBJ. Pope is an associate principal, and will work on expanding the firm's market reach in retail. She has 25 years of experience in interior design, including work at Nordstrom, Nike and the Gap.

Tacoma-based Architects Rasmussen Triebelhorn added
John Marx, Steve Moore, Chris Ackerman, Emily Ko and
Theresa Hjelm. Marx is a project architect and has more than 20 years of experience. He is working on criminal justice facilities. Moore, a graduate of Southern Illinois University, is a job captain for renovations at Pierce County Superior Courts. Ackerman has finished his internship after four years with the firm, and will continue to work on projects, and manage computer hardware and software. Ko, an intern, is a junior at the University of Washington School of Architecture. Hjelm is an office manager and bookkeeper.

Chet Wing has 24 years of experience working on health care projects with construction budgets up to $400 million, such as the San Bernadino County Medical Center. He has been managing the $9 million Asian Counseling and Referral Services Building.
Darrell Turner is LEED-accredited and brings 23 years of architectural experience, specializing in medical and commercial projects. He is working on pediatric dental clinic.
John Rose has more than 25 years of experience in corporate interiors, health care and religious facilities. He is currently doing projects for St. John Baptist Church and Holgate Street Church of Christ.
Mitch Yockey's experience includes mixed-use, banks and churches. He specializes in single-family and multi-family housing projects, and a number have been published in Custom Home and Fine Homebuilding magazines.

Ashley Rentz as executive studio assistants. Merth has previous experience in K-12 and higher educational facilities, working on projects such as the A.G. West Black Hills High School in Tumwater, and the Technical Education Facility at South Puget Sound Community College.
Keyhan-Fard has a background in urban planning and health care in Portland. Rentz has previous experience as an office manager and Pribyl was previously in office administration. BCRA's recent projects include the Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium's Kid's Zone and Charles Wright Academy's new Carol B. Milgard Lower School.

Christopher Miller. He was with a design firm in Germany, and has expertise in ecology, molecular biology and sustainable stormwater management. Walker Macy does site planning and design for parks and recreation facilities, urban plazas and streetscapes.

Derek Chisholm and
Colin MacLaren. Chisholm has 13 years of experience in visioning, design and policy work and worked in long range planning for Clark County. He will work in the firm's natural resources and planning division. MacLaren is completing a master's degree in fluvial geomorphology at Oregon State University, with a focus is on river restoration and dam removal. MacLaren joined the Environmental Policy and Planning Division and is leading an Oregon Department of Transportation project to develop a mitigation bank in the Goose Lake Basin in southern Oregon.

Elizabeth Thorstenson has joined Portland-based Mayer/Reed as a landscape designer. She is working on two mixed-use developments in downtown Portland and a dining center for Oregon State University in Corvallis. She was a project manager with Bradley Design Group of Tacoma, and has worked on parks and trails as well as commercial projects. Mayer/Reed does landscape architecture, urban design and environmental graphic design.
The Transpo Group, a transportation planning and engineering company, added Patrick Lynch and Fusan Lin to its Kirkland office. Lynch is a senior transportation planner who was with the city of Woodinville. Fusan has eight years of experience, and specializes in traffic operations and signal systems design.
Clark/Kjos Architects promoted Erin Couch, Matt Ottinger and Naomi Coplin to associates. Couch is working on hospital projects. Ottinger does construction administration. Coplin leads the Clark/Kjos interior design studio. The firm has offices in Portland and Seattle, and specializes in health care.
Kalman H. Axelrod has joined the Seattle office of Zimmer Gunsul Frasca as a principal. He has 35 years of experience, including planning and design work for medical centers in Seattle, Sacramento and Palo Alto, Calif. He will lead a team working on the St. Anthony Hospital in Gig Harbor.
