Deidre Dunkin is the new president of Redmond-based industrial painting contractor Dunkin & Bush. Tom Dunkin II moved from president to CEO. Deidre Dunkin is the fourth generation of Dunkins to be president of the firm. She joined the company in 2000 as its CFO. Prior to that, she worked for a regional accounting firm, earning her CPA and CVA certifications. She holds bachelor's degrees in economics and accounting from Claremont McKenna College. Don Hovde, previously regional manager of the company's Bellingham operations, is now vice president of all operations. Hovde has been with the company for 25 years.

John Bullwinkel is transitioning from manager of Special Projects at Howard S. Wright Construction to the leader of its Seattle Healthcare group. Bullwinkel has 24 years of industry experience, 10 of those with the company. Margaret Amo recently joined the firm and is taking over Bullwinkel's old position. Amo has 23 years of industry experience. Also joining the Special Projects group are Adam Hagan, senior project engineer, and Brad Hettle, project engineer. The Major Projects Group adds: Paul Cronin, senior project manager; James Hydzik, senior project engineer; Kjell Mauseth, project engineer; Mark Humphreys, estimator; and James Lizer, project safety manager. Brit Funk joins as project coordinator, and Cheryl Storrs as administrative assistant. Also, earlier this year, Douglas Roach left Groff Murphy Trachtenberg & Everard to join HSW Enterprises as general counsel.

Stoel Rives

Stoel Rives, a Seattle-based law firm, added two associates: Gloria S. Hong and Douglas J. Steding. Hong is in the litigation practice group and focuses on general commercial litigation. Steding focuses on environmental compliance.

Hills Clark Martin & Peterson

Hills Clark Martin & Peterson recently added two new associates: Julie B. Hamilton and Karen D. Breckenridge. Hamilton is a graduate of Seattle University School of Law. Breckenridge is a graduate of the University of Washington School of Law. Her practice will emphasize land use and environmental law.

Riddell Williams

Ryan D. Rein comes to Riddell Williams from the law firm of Short Cressman & Burgess. He joins the Seattle law firm's Trusts, Estates and Personal Planning practice group. Rein is active on the Estate & Gift Tax Committee of the state bar association's Taxation Section.

Berk & Associates

Seattle-based Berk & Associates recently added Jon McConnel as a policy analyst, cartographer and information manager/designer. McConnel previously worked at the University of Oregon's InforGraphics Lab and for the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. The firm offers strategic planning; policy, financial and economic analysis; outreach and communications.

Rebecca Andrews and Rachel Goldberg have joined the Seattle law firm of Riddell Williams. Andrews received her J.D. from the University of

Washington School of Law. She joins the Labor and Employment practice group. Goldberg received her J.D. from Stanford Law School. She joins the Labor and Employment, and Environmental and Natural Resources groups.

Jane Gallup joined the Hydrogen advertising agency in Seattle as senior print production manager. Gallup worked as a freelance production and project manager, production manager for a Seattle advertising agency and was a corporate communications manager.

Amazon.com

Amazon.com said Brian McBride, managing director for T-Mobile UK, will join the company as managing director for Amazon.co.uk, Ltd. in January 2006. He has more than 25 years of experience in the high-tech industry and also held senior positions in Europe at Dell and IBM. He is a native of Scotland and lives with his family in Surrey.

Laplink Software

Laplink Software of Kirkland named Mark Chestnut senior vice president of business development and corporate sales. Chestnut has 16 years' of management experience at Microsoft, including nine years in the OEM division. He will manage North American corporate sales and business development, and also direct the company's worldwide OEM activities.
