The government of Sweden has appointed Lars Jonsson, chairman, CEO and president of Stellar Holdings, as the new honorary consul for the state of Washington. In 1985, Jonsson moved from Sweden to Seattle, where he founded Stellar Holdings, a real estate-focused investment company with operations in Sweden and Washington.

Leavitt Capital Companies has named a new chief operating officer: Jim Edris. He has been director of property services for the company since 1988 and before that worked for PB Properties. Leavitt Capital was established by Tom Leavitt in 1979 as a real estate investment company. It owns property in Seattle and Portland, and recently expanded into Phoenix.

Windermere Real Estate

Sales associates and staff from 14 Windermere Real Estate Eastside Group offices teamed up with the Windermere Foundation last month and donated $240,000 to 17 local non-profits. Recipients include the Assistance League of the Eastside, Bellevue Family YMCA, Eastside Baby Corner, Housing at the Crossroads, Shoes From Santa and St. Andrew's Housing Group.
