Stellar Holdings

The government of Sweden has appointed Lars Jonsson, chairman, CEO and president of Stellar Holdings, as the new honorary consul for the state of Washington. In 1985, Jonsson moved from Sweden to Seattle, where he founded Stellar Holdings, a real estate-focused investment company with operations in Sweden and Washington.

PRR

PRR, a Seattle-based public affairs and communications firm, has hired Amy Creekmore and Jaime Strausz-Clark as senior associates, Colby Self as senior project coordinator, Brycelaine Philbin as marketing coordinator, Andrea Imler and Jennifer Sandberg as project coordinators, and Joe Martin as assistant account executive. Of the new hires, Creekmore, Strausz-Clark, Self and Sandberg will work with the firm's I-405 project team in the Washington State Department of Transportation's Bellevue office, the others in PRR's Seattle office.

Seattle-based law firm Williams, Kastner & Gibbs has hired Roberto O. Soto, formerly of Stoel Rives, as an associate.

American Seafoods

Seattle-based American Seafoods has hired Scott D. McNair as vice president, finance. He was a partner at Grant Thornton.

Holland America Line

Holland America Line promoted Richard D. Meadows to executive vice president, marketing, sales and guest programs, Larry Calkins to senior vice president, finance and information technology, and Paul Goodwin to senior vice president, onboard revenue services and tour operations. Seattle-based Holland America Line is a division of Carnival Corp., the world's largest cruise company.

Snohomish County Camano Realtors

Snohomish County Camano Association of Realtors promoted Nathan Gorton to executive vice president. Former Executive Vice President Russell Hokanson left at the end of October to take on the same position with the Seattle King County Association of Realtors. Gorton was SCCAR's government affairs director.

Leavitt Capital Companies

Leavitt Capital Companies has named a new chief operating officer: Jim Edris. He has been director of property services for the company since 1988 and before that worked for PB Properties. Leavitt Capital was established by Tom Leavitt in 1979 as a real estate investment company. It owns property in Seattle and Portland, and recently expanded into Phoenix.

Windermere Real Estate

Sales associates and staff from 14 Windermere Real Estate Eastside Group offices teamed up with the Windermere Foundation last month and donated $240,000 to 17 local non-profits. Recipients include the Assistance League of the Eastside, Bellevue Family YMCA, Eastside Baby Corner, Housing at the Crossroads, Shoes From Santa and St. Andrew's Housing Group.
