Control Contractors

Several changes have been made at the Seattle headquarters of Control Contractors, which specializes in building controls and HVAC systems. AGC of Washington

The Associated General Contractors of Washington named Wilf Wainhouse of Sellen Construction Contractor of the Year, Wendy Pare of Nuprecon Associate of the Year and awarded Lindsay Pease the 2006 Richard C. Bristow Award for Staff Excellence. Wainhouse chaired the association's Carpenters Negotiating Committee, served on its board of trustees and has been its president. Pare served as the association's secretary and treasurer and chaired its Property Committee. Pease developed several new publications, a new image, grassroots messaging and other communications projects.

Talisma

Talisma Corp. promoted Wade Pfeiffer to chief operating officer/chief financial officer and named Brad Birnbaum chief technology officer. Pfeiffer was chief financial officer and Birnbaum was vice president of product development. To replace Birnbaum, the company has hired Dan Mason as vice president of development. Talisma also hired Sharon Thompson as vice president of human resources. Bellevue-based Talisma provides customer interaction management solutions.

Vander Stoep, Remund, Blinks & Jones

The Chehalis law firm of Vander Stoep, Remund & Blinks added a new partner, David A. Jones. The firm will now be known as Vander Stoep, Remund, Blinks & Jones. Jones practiced law in Olympia. His practice will involve civil law and litigation.

Banner Bank added mortgage loan officer Lee Ann Anderson at the Woodinville branch. Anderson was with Washington Mutual and has over 20 years of mortgage banking experience. Banner Bank is headquartered in Walla Walla.
