Jack Fabulich was named chairman of the Port of Tacoma Commission by his fellow commissioners. Fabulich announced that he will not seek re-election after his current term ends in December. He was first elected to the commission in 1977. At the same meeting, Dick Marzano was elected president of the Port of Tacoma Commission, effective this July. Marzano has been on the commission since 1995. Current President Connie Bacon will continue to lead the commission until that time.
Document Command named William R. Transue chief operating officer. Most recently, Transue was chief executive officer of RAF Technology. He also helped build Amazon.com's supply chain infrastructure. Seattle-based Document Command gives customers the ability to access postal mail online worldwide.
ShoreBank Pacific has hired new staff. Eric Brown is vice president, real estate banker at the Federal Way office, Guy Glenn is a credit analyst at the bank's Ilwaco headquarters and Rebecca Tuccio joins the Portland location as a loan closer and administrator. ShoreBank Pacific also announced the promotions of Bonnie Anderson to vice president, real estate banker in Portland, Dustin Mead to vice president of credit administration in Ilwaco and Laurie Landeros to vice president of EcoDeposits in Federal Way. EcoDeposits is the bank's program that supports sustainable businesses in the Northwest.

KeyBank named Susan Barbour district retail leader for the South Puget Sound District based in Tacoma. Barbour will oversee the bank's retail operations at 63 KeyCenters throughout South Puget Sound. Cleveland-based KeyCorp has $92 billion in assets.
Katheryn Bradley joins Foster Pepper as a member in the Employment and Labor Relations Practice Group. Bradley is a former partner at Jackson Lewis in Seattle. Foster Pepper has offices in Seattle, Spokane and Portland.
Seattle-based GM Nameplate announced the re-organization of their sales force from geographic to product line responsibility. Steve Baker will be national sales manager for intaq products. Carlo Mears will be national sales manager for core products. Dan Thurmond and Chris Passanante continue managing the plastic and elastomer lines. Tim Johnson continues managing the automotive interior decoration market. GM Nameplate specializes in custom design and manufacture of branding components.

Law firm Stoel Rives added John M. Sharp to the Real Estate Practice Group in the Seattle office. Before joining Stoel Rives, Sharp built a successful real estate business, representing buyers and sellers of single-family homes and condominiums. Stoel Rives is based in Portland.
Roger Lennox Jansson has joined Davis Wright Tremaine in its Seattle office as part of the Health Care Practice Group. Jansson was an associate at Bennett, Bigelow & Leedom. Davis Wright Tremaine has 480 attorneys internationally.
Suzanne M. Larsen joins Foster Pepper as a member in the Seattle Real Estate Practice Group. Prior to joining Foster Pepper, Larsen was vice president and area/regional counsel of fidelity national title group. Foster Pepper has offices in Seattle, Spokane and Portland.
Salem Communications named Joe Heslet market manager for Salem Seattle. Heslet will oversee operations of the five-station radio cluster. Joe Gonzalez continues as station manager for Seattle's KLFE and KGNW. Heslet was with Fisher Communications. Salem Communications is a radio broadcaster, Internet content provider and magazine publisher targeting audiences with conservative values.
First Industrial Realty Trust named Gary Danklefsen regional director of its new Seattle/Tacoma office. Danklefsen has more than 26 years of commercial real estate experience in corporate relationship management, acquisitions, developments, dispositions and brokerage. He has worked on transactions totaling more than $2 billion and 10 million square-feet of space. He was director of transaction management for CB Richard Ellis, managing the firm's Washington Mutual portfolio and relationship, and also worked for Trammell Crow Co. in Seattle. First Industrial provides industrial real estate services. It owns, operates and has under development more than 100 million square feet of industrial real estate in the United States.
Grubb & Ellis has added Rob Nielsen as an associate specializing in tenant representation. He graduated Seattle University and spent three years working for a local retail developer performing lease analysis and managing vendor relationships. Rob will focus on Seattle's downtown core.
The March 8 luncheon meeting of Commercial Real Estate Women will be held in the Washington Athletic Club starting at 11:30 a.m. with registration and networking. The topic is “Merging Rivals and the Details: CB Richard Ellis' Acquisition of Trammell Crow.” Jim Bowles, senior managing director of CB Richard Ellis, will discuss the largest merger in the history of real estate services. The $2 billion deal made CB Richard Ellis the biggest commercial real estate services firm in the world. Cost is $35 for members and $50 for non-members and walk-ins.
