Nonprofit NPower has appointed Paul Lambert to the Seattle board of directors. Lambert is practice director at Seattle-based Point B Solutions Group, a local professional services firm. He joins nine other members of the NPower Seattle Board. NPower Seattle is the founding member of the NPower national network, a group of 12 independent organizations across the U.S.
Brown Bear Car Washes owner Vic Odermat was inducted into the Car Wash Hall of Fame at the International Carwash Association's Car Care World Expo 2007. Odermat was cited for his vision and commitment to the industry, his employees and civic activities. Brown Bear opened in Seattle in 1957 and now owns and operates 39 car washes in the Puget Sound area and Spokane. The International Carwash Association is a non-profit trade association.
Rafn Co. added Luther Sligh as senior project manager. Sligh has more than 29 years of experience in the construction industry, including project management, estimating and quality control. Bellevue-based Rafn specializes in urban housing, commercial projects and renovations with an emphasis on sustainable building.
Ritchie Bros. Auctioneers opened new auction facilities in Columbus, Ohio, and Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. Ritchie operates in more than 110 locations in more than 25 countries around the world. The company sells, through unreserved public auctions, new and used industrial and construction equipment. Its international headquarters is in Richmond, B.C.
Alaska's Steelfab hired Carl Blocker Sr. as quality control inspector. Blocker has been a quality control inspector since 1990 and is a Certified Welding Inspector under the American Welding Society. He has 26 years of steel fabrication experience, including 20 years working in Alaska for oil-field service companies.

James Breitenbucher rejoined the Seattle law firm Riddell Williams as principal. Breitenbucher will work in the National Product Liability Practice. He originally joined the company in 1999, then worked with Schulte Roth & Zabel in New York City.
The Seattle office of Brueggeman and Johnson Yeanoplos, a financial consulting firm, hired Asenath R. Partee. Partee is a tax attorney and project valuation analyst. Brueggeman and Johnson Yeanoplos has offices in Seattle, Tucson and Salt Lake City.
Seattle-based Attenex Corp., an e-discovery software provider, hired Ashley B. Watson as vice president and general counsel. Watson was a senior litigation counsel at Bellsouth.
