Kenmore Partners and the city of Kenmore have formed a partnership with Housing Resources Group to provide affordable housing in Kenmore Village by the Lake, a mixed-use project that is intended to revitalize downtown Kenmore. The city and project developer Urban Partners are working together on plans for housing, retail and open space. The project includes redevelopment of nine acres of city-owned property.
The National Traffic Safety Institute promoted Greg Cupper to vice president, Northwest region. Cupper has worked for NTSI for six years. His region covers Washington, Colorado, Oregon and Idaho.
The Frause Group, a Seattle and Portland-based public relations, marketing and business analysis firm, hired three new people. Kelly Beckley is account supervisor, and Nicole Phelan and Judy Cookson are account coordinators. Beckley brings 20 years of marketing communications experience. Phelan came from Phoenix with a year and a half of experience as an account coordinator. Cookson has interned for Frause and is pursuing a degree in communication at the University of Washington.
Mike Hogue, Rob Mercer and Rob and Barbara Herle are partners in a new winery called Mercer Estates. The winery, located in the Port of Benton's Prosser Wine & Food Park, will have a 65,000-case production facility in a 15,000-square-foot building. Another 12,000-square-foot building will have a tasting room and storage.
Seattle-based DatStat, a provider of survey research systems, named Brian Schlosser as its new CEO. For the past eight months Schlosser has been COO. He has served on the company's advisory board since 2006. Former CEO Elizabeth Miller will be chairman of the board and assume the role of chief scientific officer.
Parsons Public Relations hired Kara Palmer as senior account manager. Palmer was an advocacy officer for the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.
