Wells Fargo hired Susan Kernes as community relations manager for Wells Fargo in Washington. Kernes worked in Alaska as manager for Wells Fargo's community relations.
Ekos Corp. in Bothell hired Robert W. Hubert as president and chief executive officer. Hubert has 20 years experience and last worked with the heart valve division of Medtronic Corp. Ekos specializes in ultrasound-facilitated drug delivery.
Marsh, an insurance broker and risk advisor, hired David J. Liston as head of its New York office and Cindy Zemann as office head in Seattle. Liston had been office head for Marsh in Seattle and leader of the firm's Washington operations. Zemann, who succeeds Liston, has been with Marsh in Seattle for 21 years. Marsh has 26,000 employees.

Dawn Daurie to its Bakersfield, Calif., office and promoted
Summer Brooks to special projects assistant. Richardson joined the firm in 2000 as an estimator and later worked in engineering and project management. Robinson is working on base buildings on the estimating team. Baker took over Robinson’s old position as an estimator in special projects after working for three years as an engineer. Daurie recently earned a certificate in construction management at the University of Washington and is forming a new marketing department in Bakersfield.
Lease Crutcher Lewis promoted
Pam Honma and hired
Chris Davis, Justin Egge and
Ericksson Abad. Honma was promoted from operations assistant to project engineer in the Seattle office. She holds a certificate in construction management from the UW. Davis is a superintendent with 20 years of industry experience. Egge is a project engineer in the Special Projects Division in Seattle. He has worked in construction since 2004, and holds a bachelor’s degree in construction management from the UW. Abad is an operations assistant. He attended the UW and Shoreline Community College.
Lynnette Brown joined Allwest Underground’s sales force in the Seattle area. Brown has a background in sales and service in the marine industry. She is handling sales and rentals of the company products, which include protective shoring systems and confined-space safety equipment.
Jeff Seaborg and
Shay Claassen joined PSF Mechanical. Seaborg is a network engineer. He holds a certificate in microcomputers and networks from the UW and a bachelor’s degree in business administration from City University. Claassen is a sales/marketing administrative assistant. She holds a bachelor’s degree in business management from The Evergreen State College.
Spokane’s United Coatings, a provider of protective coatings for the construction industry, hired Mike DeBenedetto as director of business development. DeBenedetto has more than 15 years of construction industry experience. He is working out of the firm’s Tempe, Ariz., office.
