Vancouver-based Hopper Dennis Jellison Engineers, Planners and Landscape Architects hired three employees.
Autumn L. Burton joins the administrative team at the Vancouver office as the new engineering assistant. Burton replaces Natalie Morgan. Civil engineer
Kristi Unholz joined the site development section at the Vancouver office. Unholz credits her time working for the city of Vancouver construction services department for her decision to become a civil engineer. The Oregon Branch has moved to a new location at 16760 S.W. Upper Boones Ferry Road in Portland and
Elizabeth Thibodeau has joined the office. She worked in Portland, Maine, as a civil engineer.
Harmsen & Associates hired
Bill Goodwin and
Allison Raduziner. Goodwin joins the firm as senior engineer. He has more than 32 years of civil and transportation project experience and will provide project management and quality control training and oversight. Raduziner joins the firm as director of business development. She has 20 years of experience in business development with 15 years of that in the construction industry.
Robert Gorman joined HDR as a senior project manager for local agencies, based in the Bellevue office. Gorman managed the project management group in the Seattle Department of Transportation’s Capital Projects section. He has 15 years of experience managing complex transportation and civil engineering projects, including the Fremont Bridge Approach Replacement, University Way Multi-Modal, Northeast 50th Street Reconstruction and Sound Transit’s initial Link Light Rail.
Schacht Aslani Architects hired four new staff members:
Robert Limanek, Matthew Swope, David Fuchs and
Emily Doe. Limanek is a registered architect from Vermont with more than six years of experience in a wide variety of building types and with a specific interest in adaptive reuse. He is managing the Edison North Renovation project for Seattle Central Community College. Swope has more than three years of experience and is working on the Integrated Resources Center for North Seattle Community College. Fuchs has more than two years of experience. He is working on the Mount Baker neighborhood Fire Station No. 30, and the Business and Humanities Center for Peninsula College. Doe is a recent graduate and is coordinating project request reports for Peninsula College.
Belt Collins hired Julie Schickling as a CAD and graphics manager. She most recently worked as a senior CAD technician on mixed-use and residential projects at Swenson Say Faget. Prior to that, at Teknograf, she worked with several engineering companies on projects for the Port of Seattle, WSDOT and the Seattle Department of Transportation.
Discovery Bay Games hired Darcy Morris as vice president of sales. Morris was vice president of sales and retail development at Screenlife. Discovery Bay Games is based in Port Townsend and Seattle and makes family-oriented games.
McKinley Irvin, a Seattle-based family law firm, hired Jeff Levell as controller. Levell worked for more than 20 years at the University of Michigan.
Andreas Udbye has left the post of executive director at the World Trade Center Tacoma to pursue other opportunities. Udbye has held the position since 2001.
The Fountain Room in Bremerton is open for events. It is a 1,650-square-foot space located in Harborside Fountain Park that is operated and managed by Kitsap Conference Center at Bremerton Harborside.
