Pearce
Marcus & Millichap Capital named William Pearce associate director of the Seattle office. Pearce is responsible for overseeing loan originations. Pearce has a background in underwriting and analyzing commercial real estate transactions. He also has experience arranging development and construction loans. He was a principal at International Capital Group in Silverdale and Issaquah.

REDEFAS Foundation

The REDEFAS Foundation, the Real Estate Donation Effort for African Survival, appointed Dylan Kondo regional manager. He will make presentations about the effort to support feeding programs for people in impoverished areas around the world. Funds will be transferred from individual real estate transactions to REDEFAS, and then REDEFAS will distribute funds to qualifying charities. For more information see http://www.redefas.org. LEAD Thurston County

LEAD Thurston County will honor local developer and businessman Tri Vo of Triway Enterprises at its seventh annual Distinguished Leader Awards banquet in January. PATH, a Seattle-based nonprofit known for its global health initiatives, and Jack Kiley, president of Puget Sound Senior Games, are also receiving awards. Lorig

Lorig hired Amy Waldrip as commercial property manager/asset manager. She was previously director of property management for a firm on Bainbridge Island. Waldrip will oversee the commercial real estate portfolio, and be involved in developing retail strategies for new Lorig projects, including Thornton Place at Northgate.

Paragon Real Estate Advisors

Seattle-based Paragon Real Estate Advisors hired Brian Platt as an investment real estate associate. He began his real estate career at Cascade Partners and is a part owner of an apartment building on Capitol Hill.

Pacific Retirement Services

Medford, Ore.-based Pacific Retirement Services, a not-for-profit senior housing development, management, and marketing organization in the West, is expanding throughout the United States and has opened a new corporate office in Memphis. PRS is developing the Mirabella Seattle in South Lake Union and the Mirabella Portland in that city's South Waterfront area.

Taco Del Mar

Seattle-based Taco Del Mar announced a change of leadership. James Schmidt, co-founder and chief executive officer, has resumed the role of president, a position he held from 1992 to 2004. Kevin Hansen, the company's vice president of franchise development, has been promoted to chief operations officer. David Huether, who served as president since December of 2004, has stepped down to consult for the company and remain a stakeholder. Taco Del Mar has 260 locations.

Sturtevant's

After 30 years of ownership, Duncan and Janet Campbell have sold their interest in Dual Sports, the parent company of Bellevue ski shop Sturtevant's, to current employees Jeff Campbell, Tracy Gibbons and Stacey Weichbrodt. Gibbons becomes president and chief operating officer. She was general manager/director of operations. Campbell, Duncan Campbell's son, becomes chief financial officer. He was financial manager. Weichbrodt, Duncan Campbell's niece, becomes a minor shareholder and assumes responsibility for purchasing apparel in addition to her current position as advertising manager. Sturtevant's has locations in Bellevue and Puyallup.

Integra Telecom

Portland-based Integra Telecom, a provider of telecommunications and Internet services for business, appointed Jeff Oxley executive vice president and general counsel. He is based in Minneapolis, worked for Eschelon Telecom and had been assistant attorney general for the state of Minnesota.
