Columbia Hospitality, a hospitality management and consulting company, hired Molly Hoyne as the new group sales manager. Hoyne will work with three Columbia properties: Friday Harbor House on San Juan Island, The Inn at Langley on Whidbey Island and the Salish Lodge & Spa at Snoqualmie Falls. Hoyne was opening sales manager for Hotel 1000 in Seattle.

Regional law firm Schwabe, Williamson & Wyatt hired Linda Huang Zachariah to the firm's Seattle office as a member of the intellectual property practice group. Zachariah worked at Blakely, Sokoloff, Taylor & Zafman.
Virginia Mason Medical Center hired Judy Ruskell as director of community outreach and promoted Susan Abolafya to manager of the hospital's Acute Care of the Elderly Unit. Abolafya has worked at Virginia Mason since last August.

The Seattle Symphony hired Mark S. McCampbell as vice president of development. McCampbell worked at Virginia Mason Foundation where he oversaw a $100 million fund campaign. He succeeds Nan Garrison in the post, who will continue to play a significant role on a part-time schedule.
Kirkland-based Electronic Evidence Discovery, an eDiscovery solutions company, hired Robert Cruz as director of business alliances. Cruz has 16 years of sales and business development experience and last worked at Enterra Solutions.

Pierce McVey as an associate principal working primarily in the firm’s healthcare studio. McVey has more than 25 years of experience and is working on the new Swedish hospital in Issaquah. McVey previously worked as a senior associate and project designer at Mithun Architects. His past projects include the Tolt Treatment Facility in Carnation, an expansion at Good Samaritan Hospital in Puyallup and the Washington Correction Center for Women.

Grove received a 2008 ASHRAE Technology Award for his work on the Firstenburg Community Center in Vancouver. Agner has more than 13 years experience in the mechanical engineering field. Agner’s expertise includes design of mechanical HVAC systems using 2D and 3D modeling capabilities in AutoCAD and Microstation, and providing load calculations for HVAC systems. She is working on a major high school renovation project in Oak Harbor. Brewer is working on the high school renovation project in Oak Harbor and Legacy Emanuel Children’s Hospital in Portland.
