The Kitsap Conference Center at Bremerton Harborside hired Marsha Henry as chef. Henry has 30 years of experience in the restaurant industry and was recently food service director at Canterbury Manor.
LeMaster Daniels, a Spokane-based CPA firm hired, Jason Filippini, CPA, as a manager in the firm's Bellevue office. Filippini previously worked for Clothier & Head and has 15 years experience in public and private accounting.
Everett-based Intermec hired John O'Rourke as vice president of global marketing. O'Rourke has 15 years of marketing and strategy experience at Microsoft. Intermec develops, manufactures and integrates chain asset technologies.
Seattle's Abbott Construction is moving its headquarters next week from Airport Way South to First Avenue South. The move is anticipated on June 22. The new address will be: 3408 First Ave. S., Suite 101, Seattle, WA 98134-1805. Phone and fax numbers are not changing.

The Tacoma Regional Convention + Visitor Bureau hired Zak Nelson as communications manager. Nelson was a senior publicist with Ten Speed Press in Berkeley, Calif.
Joe Fugere, the founder of Tutta Bella Neapolitan Pizzeria, will open his first Eastside location in Issaquah. The location at 715 Gilman Boulevard will open on Monday. The 6,000 square foot restaurant seats 210 with 40 seats on an outdoor terrace.
Sector 10 in Bellevue, an emergency response systems company, hired John Gargett as vice president of operations and chief operations officer. Gargett was head of the Operations Committee on the company's board of directors. Gargett has 25 years experience in crisis, emergency and risk management.

Alderbrook Resort & Spa, a Pacific Northwest retreat on the shores of Hood Canal, hired Max Messmer as director of food and beverage. Messmer has 10 years of experience in the food and beverage industry and recently worked with Access Golf.
The Golf Club at Newcastle has substantially completed rehabilitation of the public golf course, Coal Creek. Both Coal Creek and China Creek courses are now fully operational and taking tee times. The club is located at 15500 Six Penny Lane in Newcastle.
Seattle-based Recreational Equipment Inc. will open a new store in Richmond, Va., at West Broad Village in November. The 26,500-square-foot store will be two levels. It will be located along West Broad Street near Interstate 64.
Taco Del Mar, a quick service Mexican restaurant, hired Larry Destro as president and CEO. Destro was president international of the Dunkin' Brands, including Baskin-Robbins and Dunkin' Donuts. He also worked at Taco Bell for 13 years, serving for five years as Northwest Zone vice president of operations. Taco Del has over 240 locations.

Mike Newton and Christian Mattson of NAI Global represented Hillstrom Ventures in the sale of the Hillstrom Cabinets Building at 18504 Canyon Road E. in Puyallup for $6.5 million to Pinion, LLC. The industrial building has 65,450 square feet.
CREW Seattle's June luncheon is today from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. The topic is “University of Washington: Bare Bones About Construction at the Dawg's House.” Eric Smith, director of capital projects at the UW, will talk about ongoing construction projects on the Seattle, Tacoma and Bothell campuses. NAIOP will hold a members-only event on Thursday, June 25 from 4 to 7 p.m. at Metropolitan Park West, 1100 Olive Way, on the 17th floor rooftop deck. The Benaroya Companies is sponsoring the event.
