KeyBank hired Lynn Thorburn to its Bellevue Private Banking Team as senior vice president and investment solutions specialist. Thorburn has over 30 years of experience in wealth management and was director of business development for Laird Norton Tyee.
Public Radio International announced that Linda Larson, a partner at Seattle's Marten Law Group, is the new chair of the PRI board of directors. Larson will serve a two-year term and has been a director on the PRI board since 2001.
Seattle-based Worktank, a digital events and marketing agency, promoted Carrie Byrne to creative director and Corey Pilkington to director of client services. Byrne was Worktank's associate creative director and has 15 years of experience. Pilkington was account supervisor.
Bob Frause, chairman and CEO of Frause, has been elected to the Public Relations Society of America 2010 National Board of Directors. Frause is one of seven new professionals elected to the board this year. Each will serve a two-year term starting in January. Seattle–based Frause, previously known as The Frause Group, is a full spectrum communications firm.
FirstService Real Estate Advisors named Curtis Akey as U.S. finance director. Akey will be the primary contact for all finance activities for FirstService REA's business operations and partner firms, which include Colliers International, FirstService Williams, FirstService PGP and PKF Consulting.
