Lease Crutcher Lewis

Everson
Regional general contractor Lease Crutcher Lewis hired Marc Everson as chief estimator of the Commercial Division in Seattle. Everson has been in construction in the Seattle area since 1980, serving as a project engineer, project manager, senior project manager and director of estimating. He holds bachelor's degrees in construction management and business administration from Washington State University.

PSF Mechanical hired B. Joel Smith as engineering technical director. Smith has more than 30 years of experience in engineering, sales and marketing in the Northwest design-build mechanical industry. He is a professional engineer and was a principal at MacDonald-Miller and Hermanson Co.

Green
Seattle's Global Diving & Salvage hired Christopher Green as a construction estimator. In his new position, Green is responsible for estimating and proposal production within Global's Marine Construction Division for federal, state, local and civil customers, as well as other key markets. He has an extensive educational and professional background in the estimating and preconstruction development process. He was previously employed by MulvannyG2 Architecture and construction companies specializing in retail development.

MacKay & Sposito

Kent
The Professional Land Surveyors of Oregon named Tim Kent of Vancouver-based MacKay & Sposito Oregon Surveyor of the Year. Kent has more than 37 years of land surveying experience and has spent the last five years as a professor, first at the Oregon Institute of Technology and now at Clark College, where he is the program coordinator and instructor for the Surveying Program. He holds Professional Land Surveyor licenses in Washington, Oregon, Alaska, California and Colorado. He also is a two-time Surveyor of the Year winner of the Land Surveyors' Association of Washington.

Optimum Energy

Seattle-based Optimum Energy, a provider of heating, ventilating and air-conditioning software, is partnering with Tom Hartman to bring his HVAC design and control expertise to the company's largest projects. Hartman is working with the company's Engineering Services team, which is based in San Diego and deployed across the country. He is a Professional Engineer, Certified Energy Manager and founder of The Hartman Co. Optimum Energy offers an HVAC optimization solution that Hartman developed 10 years ago. The Engineering Services team specializes in engineering centrifugal chiller plants and variable-air-volume air handling systems.

Garvey Schubert Barer

Garvey Schubert Barer announced Cynthia Fraser, Samuel Kauffman and Carrie Richter of the firm's Portland office have been promoted to owners. Fraser's practice focuses on land use disputes, condemnation litigation and property tax appeals. Kauffman practices white-collar criminal defense and litigation. Richter represents business, community and government entities in land use planning and municipal law.

Port of Tacoma

The Port of Tacoma hired Curt Stoner as the new senior manager of container terminal business. Before joining the port, Stoner spent 15 years as commercial manager at Totem Ocean Trailer Express, a port customer that serves Alaska.

Northwest Hospital

Northwest Hospital & Medical Center hired Michael Lee as a board-certified internist. His practice is located in Suite 104 of the Medical Arts Building, 1530 N. 115th St., on the Northwest Hospital & Medical Center campus. Lee has been practicing medicine for over 10 years and specializes in chronic disease management and preventative and wellness care.
