USKH has added Hannah Pham to the Spokane office mechanical engineering staff. Pham has two years of experience at engineering firms in the region. She is a graduate of Eastern Washington University. USKH is an employee-owned design firm operating in the Pacific Northwest and Alaska.
Otak hired Douglas Sarkkinen as a senior structural engineer and project manager in its Vancouver office to work with the transportation infrastructure services team. Sarkkinen has nearly 25 years of experience with concrete structures and bridges. His expertise includes design, structural analysis, and forensic and expert witness evaluations. Prior to joining Otak, Sarkkinen designed and managed projects in Oregon and Washington. His work includes the South Canyon Bridge in Bend, Ore., which won the 2005 Oregon Parks Project of the Year Award. Otak is an urban design, planning and engineering firm.
INCA Engineers, a Tetra Tech company, hired Rey Hokenson as director of the new hydropower services department. It provides studies, construction and operation support, FERC licensing and permitting, and final design for projects. Hokenson has worked on hydroelectric and water resources projects for 40 years in the United States, Panama, Columbia, Brazil, Laos, Thailand, Canada, Mexico and the Philippines.
Law firm Riddell Williams hired three new associates. They are Bryan Case, Keith Seo and Shata Stucky. Case joins the Bankruptcy and Creditors' Rights and Litigation practice groups. Seo joins the Health Care, Corporate Transactions and Finance practice groups. Stucky joins the Environmental, Natural Resources and Litigation practice groups.
Seattle-based Gilmore Research Group, a marketing research consulting firm, hired Jack Geiger as vice president, senior research consultant. Geiger has 18 years of marketing and management experience and has worked with financial services, utilities, technology and telecommunications.
Seattle law firm Helsell Fetterman said long time partner Llewelyn Pritchard is receiving the Father Robert F. Drinan Award from the American Bar Association. The award recognizes an individual who has provided leadership to the legal profession in protecting and advancing human rights, civil liberties and social justice.
Hallmark Manor, a nursing and rehabilitation center in Federal Way, hired Darren Bake as executive director. Bake worked with Generations Healthcare in San Diego, Calif. He has six years of experience in longterm care administration.
