Clothier & Head's

Certified public accounting firm Clothier & Head hired Amber Busch and Parrish Lockwood as senior tax managers. Busch has nine years of public accounting experience and was previously a senior tax manager at Moss Adams in Tacoma. Lockwood has 15 years of experience and was recently a senior tax manager and real estate niche leader with Berntson Porter & Co.

Seattle Foundation

The Seattle Foundation elected six new members to its board of trustees. They will serve three-year terms on the 27-member board, which oversees work in philanthropy, community knowledge and leadership. They are Libby Armintrout, Kevin Daniels, Linda Park, John Stanton, James Williams and Tay Yoshitani.

CellCyte Genetics

Bellevue's CellCyte Genetics Corp. hired Fred Mill as vice president of manufacturing. Mill will continue in his present role as director of engineering. He has worked at CellCyte since 2007.

Williams Kastner

Williams Kastner, a Pacific Northwest law firm, said the National Center for American Indian Enterprise Development selected tribal practice attorney Quanah Spencer as one of its 2010 Native American 40 Under 40 Recipients. Spencer, of counsel in the firm's Seattle office, concentrates on public policy. He is an enrolled Yakama tribal member and has worked for the Yakama National, Coeur d'Alene Tribe and the National Congress of American Indians.

KDF Architecture

KDF Architecture promoted Ryan Monson to associate. Monson has been with the firm for 10 years. His work includes clinic and hospital projects, and Yakima School District's Eisenhower High School. Yakima-based KDF provides design services in the Northwest.

Mahlum

Mahlum, a design and architectural firm, named David Mount a principal. Mount oversees design for educational projects in the Seattle office and the firm's awards, publications, in-house design workshops and retreats. He is the designer for renovation of Miller Hall at Western Washington University, and is involved in the design of Wilkes Elementary School and John Muir Elementary. Mahlum also has an office in Portland.

MulvannyG2 Architecture

MulvannyG2 Architecture hired William Hendrix as design principal in its East Coast office. Hendrix is responsible for design leadership and development of strategic markets and clients. He has more than 25 years of experience, with a portfolio that includes government, corporate, health care and retail projects with a focus on mixed-use. The New General Assembly Office Building in Richmond, Va., and The Center for the Intrepid Fort Sam in Houston are among his projects. He previously was Perkins + Will's design director and a Smith Group vice president. MulvannyG2 designs retail, mixed-use, and corporate offices and interiors, with offices in Bellevue, Portland, Irvine, Calif.; Washington D.C.; and Shanghai.

Gig Harbor's Wade Perrow Construction added John Reindl as network administrator, Brittney Noble as administrative assistant/receptionist, and Sunny Millar as project engineer. Reindl is in charge of all computer and information technology-related issues. Noble is focusing on marketing. She holds a bachelor's degree in writing from Pacific Lutheran University. Millar is working on the $22 million Fort Lewis Readiness Center project. In the past, she worked on other Joint Base Lewis-McChord and municipal projects.

Andersen Construction Co.

For its Seattle office, Andersen Construction Co. hired Kyle Anderson as superintendent and Thuy Vu as project engineer in the Special Projects Group. Anderson has 14 years of commercial construction experience. Vu is a graduate of Washington State University and has four years of commercial construction experience.

EHS Today

EHS Today, a magazine covering risk management in the workplace and environment, selected 12 companies for its 2010 list of America's Safest Companies. The winning companies provide a safe workplace, protect the environment, and advocate worker health and safety. Local winners include: Lydig Construction, which has offices in Bellevue and Spokane; Adolfson & Peterson Construction, which does business in Tacoma as Rushforth Construction; Safway Services, which has offices in Kent and Bellingham; and Cummins Inc., which does business locally as Cummins Northwest, with branches in Renton, Spokane and Yakima.

Western Washington University

Stephanie Salzman, dean of Western Washington University's Woodring College of Education since 2002, will leave her position at the end of the 2010-2011 academic year to spend more time with family and to pursue other professional interests.

Stoel Rives

Stoel Rives law firm hired Karin Jones in the Seattle office as an associate in the Labor and Employment Group. Jones was a deputy attorney general in the Civil Litigation Division of the Office of the Idaho Attorney General.

CellCyte Genetics

Bellevue-based CellCyte Genetics Corp. appointed Douglas Pat Cerretti as president. Cerretti will retain his responsibilities as chief science officer and director of business development. CellCyte's bioreactor product is a cell expansion device that allows the culture of cells at high density and under precisely controlled oxygenation.

Commission on Hispanic Affairs

Juan Garcia, a Washington State University Extension educator based in Adams County, was appointed to the Commission on Hispanic Affairs by Governor Chris Gregoire. Garcia has a background working with government, nonprofits and institutions of higher education.
