Pacific International Bank recently made a series of new hires. Jin Lee is vice president and will manage the South Regional Lending Team and Federal Way branch. Young Lee is vice president and manger of the North Regional Lending Team. Bryant Stewart is first vice president of the Risk Management Group in the Seattle headquarters. Shari Ray is vice president and manager of loan servicing and loan compliance.
NanoString Technologies, a life sciences company involved in detecting and counting target molecules in biological samples, hired Barney Saunders as chief commercial officer. Saunders has 23 years of experience commercializing emergent and mature technologies in the life science and clinical research markets. He previously worked with Microchip Biotechnologies.
Group Health and The Everett Clinic will begin working together on health care delivery coordination in Snohomish and north King counties. They will work on ways to share information, and align practices and procedures.

Spokane's Ziegler Lumber Co., which operates as Ziggy's, is closing its store at 4220 N. Market St. in Spokane to make way for the North/South Freeway project. Ziggy's has other stores on East Holland Avenue in Spokane and East Sprague Avenue in Spokane Valley, as well as Moses Lake and Idaho.
Monroe-based Canyon Creek Cabinet Co. appointed KDN Associates to represent its cabinet lines on the East Coast. KDN is based in Horsham, Pa.

The Heathman Hotel in Kirkland promoted Belinda Jensen to director of sales and hired Breanne Ojala as sales manager, filling Jensen's old post. Jensen has managed sales at Heathman for three years. Ojala worked at Bellevue's Hotel Sierra and the Hilton Garden Inn in Denver.
Chocolopolis has opened its second store at The Shops at The Bravern. Located adjacent to Wild Ginger, Chocolopolis features artisan chocolate from more than 20 countries.
