Foster Pepper hired Jennifer Peet to its Seattle office. Peet will be a part of the national Investment Management Group. She previously worked at the Oregon State Treasurer's office.
Cedarbrook Lodge hired Kendal Lund as food and beverage manager of the hotel. Lund oversees the Copperleaf Restaurant dining room and is responsible for banquet and catering events, as well as partnerships with local wineries, distilleries and breweries. Lund was the service captain at Cedarbrook and oversaw the opening of Copperleaf in 2010.
Filter hired Kristin Flor as vice president of business development and marketing. Flor was the VP of business development at Radarworks and has 20 years of experience.
Jennifer Kilmer has been selected by the Washington State Historical Society board of trustees to succeed David Nicandri as its new executive director. Nicandri is retiring after 25 years as head of the organization. Kilmer has been executive director of the Harbor History Museum and headed the campaign to build the new museum in Gig Harbor. Kilmer was a grant manager for the Paul G. Allen Family Foundations and worked for the Seattle Seahawks Charitable Foundation.
Ben Crowl has joined First Sound Bank as vice president and relationship officer. He was with Union Bank in Seattle.


Monroe-based Canyon Creek Cabinet Co. promoted Ron Larson to vice president of finance and Bonnie Styles to controller. In his new role, Larson directs the company's financial systems. He was director of accounting at the company since 2003. Styles has held a managerial position in the company's accounting department for nearly seven years.
Regence BlueShield appointed Samuel Anderson to its community board to help guide the company's strategic direction. Anderson is CEO of the Master Builders Association of King and Snohomish Counties. Before joining the MBA, Anderson was general counsel and director of public policy for the National Ski Areas Association. He is a graduate of the University of Oregon and Northwestern School of Law, Lewis & Clark College.

The public policy consulting firm Berk promoted Michele Eakins to marketing coordinator. Eakens was previously administrative manager.
LINE-X Protective Coatings, a Huntsville, Ala.-based provider of protective coatings, is opening a location in Tumwater for retail customers and auto dealerships. It is owned by Clint Owen and located at 5043 Capitol Boulevard S.
United Way of Southeast Alaska hired Wayne Stevens as chief executive officer. Stevens is the former CEO for the Alaska State Chamber of Commerce and replaces Brenda Hewitt, who left earlier this year to take a job with the Alaska Department of Transportation and Public Facilities.
AAA Washington in Bellevue recently promoted Jennifer Cook to senior manager of corporate communications. Cook has been with AAA Washington for 13 years and was public relations manager.
