Revenue Management Systems

Seattle-based Revenue Management Systems hired Eric Nordling as chief operating officer. Nordling brings 23 years of airline revenue management experience and has worked at United Airlines, MarkAir, Delta Air Lines, Atlantic Coast Airlines and Independence Air. Revenue Management Systems is a software company that developed airRM, a revenue management application for the airline industry.

AAA Washington

AAA Washington hired Lori Reed as IT project specialist at its headquarters in Bellevue. Reed has 25 years of experience in financial services and the insurance industry.

Bureau of Land Management

BLM said Mike Mottice will be the acting Oregon/Washington state director, replacing Ed Shepard who served as state director for six years. Mottice has worked for BLM for 32 years. BLM manages more than 245 million acres of public land in 12 western states and administers 700 million acres of sub-surface minerals throughout the nation.

The Bellevue office of Lydig Construction hired Tim Welch and Colm McGlynn as superintendents and Craig Greene as director of special projects. Welch has more than 30 years of industry experience with high-end tenant improvements and new projects. He is working in the Special Projects Group. McGlynn has more than 25 years of construction experience, including health-care projects and schools. He is working in the Large Projects Group. Greene has experience in special projects and health-care buildings, and has worked on an integrated project delivery contract. He is a certified Lean-Six Sigma Black Belt, and is an advisory board member for the Lean Construction Institute's Cascadia Chapter.

Abbott Construction hired Alex Leighton as senior project manager, Charlie Gwinn as project manager, and Katie Hislop and John Kepler as project engineers. Leighton has more than 15 years of experience with concrete tilt-up, multifamily, pre-engineered metal buildings and tenant-improvement projects. Gwinn has more than 15 years of commercial and high-end residential experience. Hislop interned with Abbott last summer and holds bachelor's degrees in construction management and architectural studies from Washington State University. Kepler holds a bachelor's degree in accounting from the University of Washington.

Seattle-based PSF Mechanical added Joe Brucker as project executive, Ryan O'Rourke as estimator, Justin Hubbard as general foreman and Adam Thomas as sheet metal detailer. Brucker has been in the industry for 16 years and is a former journeyman technician and Local 32 JATC instructor. O'Rourke has been in the industry for five years and holds a certificate in construction management from the University of Washington. Hubbard has been in the construction industry for 16 years, and is certified as a journeyman plumber and medical-gas installer. Thomas has been in the sheet metal trade for 12 years.

Tacoma-based Columbia Bank hired John Nickens as senior vice president of information technology to manage Columbia Bank's security program. Nickens has 10 years' experience in banking and worked as global strategic sourcing manager at Russell Investments.

NanoString Technologies

Seattle-based NanoString Technologies hired Bruce Seeley as senior vice president and general manager of diagnostics. Seeley has 20 years of oncology experience, and was executive vice president at Seattle Genetics and senior director at Genentech where he launched Herceptin, a drug used to help combat certain types of breast cancer. NanoString provides life science tools for research and molecular diagnostics.

Cairncross & Hempelmann

Seattle law firm Cairncross & Hempelmann hired attorneys Robert Kaye and Kirsten Daniels, and added Bernice Johnson Blessing as summer associate. Kaye was corporate counsel at The Regence Group; Daniels joins the Employment Law Team and Blessing is a 2012 J.D. candidate from Seattle University School of Law and worked as area director of human resources for RC Hedreen Corp.
