Noone

Totem Ocean Trailer Express named Michael Noone chief operating officer. Noone has more than 28 years of experience in shipping and logistics, and was chief operating officer for Yusen Logistics Americas. Grace Greene has joined Totem as general manager of Alaska operations. Greene was responsible for aviation logistics operations in the Alaska Venture for Shell Exploration and Production Co. Totem offers common carrier service between Tacoma and Anchorage.

HomeStreet Bank

HomeStreet Bank and its parent company, HomeStreet Inc., has purchased two branches and related assets from AmericanWest Bank in Bainbridge Island and West Seattle. The bank's branch network is now 20 in the Puget Sound region and 30 in Washington, Oregon and Hawaii. HomeStreet Bank also has 41 mortgage loan production offices in the Pacific Northwest, California and Hawaii.

Foundation Bancorp

Foundation Bancorp added Duane Woods to the board of directors. He recently retired as senior vice president for Waste Management and also practiced law for over 18 years in Seattle.

Walsh Construction Co.

Leeding

Portland-based Walsh Construction Co. named Matt Leeding president, succeeding company co-founder Bob Walsh. Leeding joined the company in 1980 as a laborer and moved through the ranks as a carpenter, project engineer, superintendent, project manager, vice president and, most recently, president of RDF Builders, a Walsh subsidiary. He is a graduate of Oregon State University. Bob Walsh will remain as chair of the board of directors and will manage the company's philanthropic activities through the Walsh Foundation. The company also has offices in Seattle and Tacoma.

Swinerton Builders

Chad Tonge was promoted to senior project engineer at Swinerton Builders' Northwest Division. Tonge has been with Swinerton since 2007, working the last two years in tenant improvements. He also manages the BIM program for the Northwest Division, which has offices in Portland and Bellevue.

Rush Commercial hired Devin Page as vice president, replacing Chris DeWald, who became vice president of sister company Rush Development. Page most recently was special projects division manager at Andersen Construction in Seattle, where he focused on business development, operations, regional strategy, project execution and client relations.

Banner Bank

Ikezawa

Banner Bank hired Dennis Ikezawa as vice president relationship manager on the commercial banking team in downtown Seattle. He has more than 20 years in financial services, with Bank of Tokyo Mitsubishi-UFJ, Salomon Brothers, Price Waterhouse and US Bank.

Comcast Arena

Global Spectrum, operators of Comcast Arena in Everett, named Rick Comeau general manager of the arena. He was assistant general manager. He will oversee booking, finance, events, box office, marketing, client relations and corporate sales for the arena, conference center and ice rink. Comeau has worked at an events center in British Columbia.

American Diabetes Association

The American Diabetes Association gave an award to Brenda Montgomery of the Diabetes Research Group in Seattle at the annual Community Volunteer Leadership Conference. She is director of the Diabetes Research Group at VA Puget Sound Healthcare System and the University of Washington, and won the Health Professional Award for Volunteer Service.
