Bassetti Architects promoted Dana Amore, Amanda Clausen and Joe Echeverri to associate, and Lindsay Crawford, Michael Davis, Kristian Kicinski, Jordan Kiel, Ross Parker and Judy Yeoh to senior associate. Amore is a project manager focusing on K-12 and athletic facilities. She is working on the Edmonds School District master plan. Clausen is an interior designer who manages K-12 projects. She is working on Arbor Heights Elementary School in Seattle. Echeverri does project management for the K-12 market in Portland and is working on the renovation and modernization of Roosevelt High School there. Crawford is a senior project architect who is working on Stewart Middle School in Tacoma. Davis works on K-12 programming and design, including Gilham Elementary School in Eugene. Kicinski is working on two Wyoming projects: Natrona County High School in Casper and a satellite high school in Rock Springs. Kiel focuses on design/build and higher education projects, and is working on the McDonald Smith renovation for the University of Washington Tacoma. Parker does K-12 programing and pre-design, and is working on Central Kitsap School District's master plan. Yeoh does technical design, document production, detailing, specifications and quality control. She is senior project architect on Roosevelt High in Portland.

Reid Middleton

Gonzalez

Reid Middleton hired David Gonzalez as a principal engineer. Gonzalez will work from Everett until later this year when he relocates to lead the San Diego office and help expand the firm's structural, civil and waterfront engineering services in Southern California. Reid Middleton has seismic upgrade projects in Southern California at Naval Medical Center San Diego and Naval Hospital Twentynine Palms. Gonzalez is a structural engineer with 19 years of experience, including 14 with Degenkolb Engineers, where he was the Seattle office's principal and group director. Reid Middleton is an Everett-based engineering, planning and surveying firm.

SCJ Alliance

In Lacey, SCJ Alliance hired Shelly Badger as corporate services manager. Badger will oversee human resources, information technology and administration operations for the firm's five offices. She has been Yelm's city administrator since 1993, and will join SCJ in September. SCJ provides transportation planning and design, civil engineering and land use/environmental planning.

Environmental Science Associates

Johnson

Environmental Science Associates promoted Mark Johnson to Northwest director of community development in Seattle. He has over 25 years of experience in planning, design, SEPA and NEPA, and environmental regulatory compliance. He has been with ESA for nearly a decade, and before that was a planner with the Seattle Department of Design, Construction and Land Use. ESA is a West Coast-based environmental science and planning firm.

Landau Associates

Maule

In Edmonds, Landau Associates hired Amy Maule as a senior staff scientist and Keenan Mussie as an environmental technician. Maule has 19 years of experience in legal research, information management and environmental consulting. She will assist in environmental due diligence, permitting and site development. Mussie has a background in environmental science and environmental site assessment, and is a Navy veteran. He is responsible for environmental sampling and remediation. Landau provides geotechnical and environmental engineering, remediation, permitting and compliance services.

4D Architects

Hill

Michele Hill of 4D Architects is now a licensed architect in Washington. Hill has been with the firm since 2012. 4D specializes in designing houses and smaller mixed-use buildings.

McKinley Irvin

Rusch

McKinley Irvin, a Seattle-based family law firm, hired Deanna Rusch as an associate attorney in the Vancouver office. Her practice focuses on complex divorces, and inter-state and international custody issues, as well as business and financial issues.

Lane Powell

Rachel M. Bowe joined Lane Powell as an attorney in the Labor and Employment Practice Group. Bowe has defended clients against race, age, gender, and disability discrimination and retaliation claims as well as business tort disputes, and has experience in complex litigation and class actions. Lane Powell has 200 attorneys in Washington, Oregon, Alaska and London.

King County

The Metropolitan King County Council confirmed Julie Wise as deputy director of the Department of Elections. Wise has worked with the department since 2003 and has been a Certified Election Administrator since 2008.
