In the Seattle office, Hart Crowser hired Brigitte Brown and Marissa Goodman as environmental engineers, Jeff Bruce, Alexander Ciccone and Jordan Thomas as geotechnical engineers, Meghan Walker as a project assistant, Casey Hackett as a billing specialist and Jeremiah Ocampo as a payroll specialist. In Edmonds, it hired Jessica Blanchette as a marine biologist. In Portland, it hired Adam Jones as an engineering geologist and Cassandra Sims Knight as a marketing assistant. Brown and Goodman are working on projects for the Department of Ecology and Seattle City Light. Bruce, Ciccone and Thomas are supporting projects for the Washington State Department of Transportation, Seaport Alliance and local developers. Blanchette is in the natural resources group. She works on dredging and development projects to reduce impacts to fish, conducts marine mammal monitoring and supports laboratory studies. Jones specializes in evaluating slope stability in rocky areas. Seattle-based Hart Crowser is an engineering, science and consulting firm, with six offices in Alaska, Oregon, Washington and Hawaii.

Johnson Braund hired Ayla Mull as an intern architect, and Irem Griswold and Sabrina Addison as interior designers. The firm specializes in multifamily and hospitality architecture and interior design.

Duncan

Jim Duncan joined the board of directors of Perteet, a multidisciplinary engineering firm with offices in Everett, Seattle, Ellensburg and Snoqualmie. From 1991 to 2006, Duncan was CEO of Sparling, an electrical engineering and technology consulting firm. He is semi-retired and is on the boards of the ArtsFund, Classical KING FM 98.1, Rainier Club and The Center for Wooden Boats.

Department of Social and Health Services

Reyes

Carla Reyes has been named assistant secretary for the Department of Social and Health Services' Behavioral Health Administration. She is a long-time DSHS employee and has served as acting assistant secretary since August. Reyes was executive director of planning and performance, leading DSHS strategic planning.

Oregon Supreme Court

Oregon Gov. Kate Brown has appointed Lynn Nakamoto to fill a vacancy on the Oregon Supreme Court. Nakamato has been on the Oregon Court of Appeals since 2011. She takes the spot created by the retirement of Justice Virginia Linder and is the first Asian-Pacific American on the court.

Laird Norton Wealth Management named Gino Perrina, Ph.D., CFA chief investment officer. He worked with BlackRock in New York City as managing director, global head of alternative investment risk with more than $100 billion in total investments, and also worked at Russell Investments and Microsoft. Laird Norton Wealth Management has almost $5 billion in assets under advisement.

Puget Sound Bank

Puget Sound Bank of Bellevue announced promotions and new hires. Danial Meuli has been promoted to cash management lead. Anahita Soltani has been promoted to customer service support. Naomi Farmer joins as a cash management specialist. Jason Hollaway has been hired as a credit analyst. Aleecia Poulson has moved to senior cash management specialist from customer service officer.

Onpoint Real Estate Services

Onpoint Real Estate Services won a 2015 Seattle Human Rights Business Award from the city. The 16th Annual Human Rights Day event is Thursday at 7 p.m. at Town Hall Seattle and is open to the public. Jaebadiah S. Gardner is the founder and owner of Onpoint, a full-service independent real estate company that manages multi-family and HOA buildings, and handles sales and leases.

McMillen Jacobs Associates

William W. Edgerton, principal and past president of McMillen Jacobs Associates, was elected as a member of the National Academy of Construction’s 2015 class. Edgerton is manager of tunneling for the $2.6 billion Clean Rivers Project in Washington, D.C. He previously was project manager on King County’s Brightwater project.
