Skagit Bank named Tim Rawlins chief retail banking officer based in the Burlington office to oversee all locations. He has spent 30 years working for regional banks. Skagit Bank has offices in Skagit, Snohomish, Whatcom and King counties.
Esterline Corp. of Bellevue named Scott Selle president of the defense technologies business group. He served in the Navy and has 20 years of aerospace manufacturing and defense munitions experience. He succeeds Jim Brandt, who is retiring this year. Esterline has annual sales of $2 billion in aerospace and defense materials and equipment.
Cushman & Wakefield/Commerce hired Evan Cohn as associate broker. He joins the Seattle investment capital market team led by veterans Gary Danklefsen and Gordon Ahalt, who have done deals worth $5 billion. A Northwest native with a sales background outside real estate, Cohn will now focus on the commercial office market, where owners are looking to finance for upgrades and possible sales.
NAIOP's Sept. 21 breakfast will look at what shapes the real estate landscape of cities across the country. Speakers are Mark Flemming, chief economist with First American and a guest on CBS, Fox News, CNBC and NPR talking about mortgages and property issues; and Linda Isaacson, director of business intelligence with First American, who leads the firm's initiatives and analytics. This year's NAIOP community enhancement project will be Saturday, Sept. 24, from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at a high school in Burien called New Start. NAIOP said in a press release that students at New Start High School are pursuing an education even though their life circumstances make it a significant challenge. New Start teachers and staff provide support to help them succeed. The Salmon Creek Campus had been an elementary school before it reopened for the high school. The school was dilapidated and built for small children, and has not been remodeled, with broken walkways, chipped paint, deteriorating wood and a confusing entry. NAIOP said the project will give students pride in the school and create a comfortable and welcoming environment. NAIOP is seeking financial donations and volunteers. Seattle-based design firm Olson Kundig promoted Laura Bartunek, Jordan Leppert, Jeff Ocampo, Ryan Patterson and Jason Roseler to associate and MacKenzie Cotters to marketing manager. The firm's work includes housing, hospitality projects, commercial and mixed-use design, academic buildings, museums and exhibitions, interior design, visual identities and places of worship.

PBS Engineering and Environmental hired former Port of Vancouver USA CEO Todd Coleman as port sector manager. Coleman was with the port for 15 years, including four as CEO and executive director. PBS offers engineering and environmental services to ports in the region. It recently acquired local engineering firm HDJ Design Group, expanding it ability to provide transportation and traffic engineering, surveying and land use planning for ports.








Integrus Architecture promoted Patrick Donnelly and Daniel Gero to senior associate and Lindsay Aaseby, Colin Anderson, J. Irons, Brian Rezentes, Matt Taylor and Katie Vingelen to associate. Donnelly is a project manager/architect in Seattle. Gero is a project architect in Seattle. Aaseby is an interior designer in Spokane. Anderson is a project manager in Spokane. Irons is a project architect/project manager in Seattle. Rezentes and Taylor are project architects in Seattle. Vingelen is an interior designer in Spokane. Integrus provides architectural, planning, interior design, structural engineering and security design services.
The Blueline Group hired Shawn Cooper as an engineering designer. Cooper has over 12 years of CAD experience, and knows Civil 3D. He has worked on water and wastewater treatment, roadway, subdivision, mixed use and commercial projects. Blueline provides civil engineering consulting.
F5 Networks hired Ben Gibson as chief marketing officer and executive vice president, based in San Jose. Gibson will be responsible for overseeing global marketing as F5 expands into application security and cloud application deployment. He was chief marketing officer at Veritas and Aruba Networks.
Seattle-based JND Legal Administration, which focuses on class action, mass tort, corporate restructuring, government services and eDiscovery, named Michael Sherin as senior advisor. He was the former chairman of Garden City Group.
