Seattle Art Museum

Bolton

Seattle Art Museum named Cindy Bolton chief financial officer, a new position overseeing finance, human resources, legal and volunteer programs. Bolton was head of finance at two Seattle startups — buuteeq and TINYpulse — and worked at Microsoft for 10 years, where she last was senior finance director for the U.S. Enterprise & Partner Group. She also was senior finance manager at Unilever.

Perkins Coie

Perkins Coie said it has been recognized as one of the top three law firms in Microsoft's FY16 Law Firm Diversity Program, which focuses on increasing diversity in partner and leadership ranks. The other winners are K&L Gates, and Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe.

First Sound Bank

First Sound Bank said Neeru Atreya has joined as vice president of private banking. She was with Union Bank in Seattle. Lisa Cleary was promoted to senior vice president and credit administrator. Cleary joined First Sound Bank in 2015, and has been vice president of credit administration. First Sound serves small- to medium-sized businesses, organizations, not-for-profits and professionals.

The Seattle Times

Sharon Pian Chan has been named vice president of innovation, product and development for The Seattle Times. She worked as a reporter covering global institutions in Seattle such as Microsoft and T-Mobile. This new position will focus on developing non-traditional funding for journalism, and creating new products and services for digital, engagement and print platforms. Chan is now director of journalism initiatives and deputy managing editor for audience development.

Cushman & Wakefield Commerce

McLaughlin

C&W has hired Hughes McLaughlin in the Seattle office as senior director. Previously with Jones Lang LaSalle, where he rose to senior VP, McLaughlin will focus on the office and investment markets. C&W's Dave Magee said, “Hughes has tremendous experience in managing portfolios of real estate on an international scale while focusing his practice in negotiating complex transactions throughout the Puget Sound.” Educated at Seattle University, McLaughlin resides in West Seattle.

RPS Environmental Risk Group's Seattle office has hired Tim McCormack as Regional Vice President – Pacific NW Operations. He brings over 25 years of experience providing environmental management and consulting to a wide range of clients and industries. His areas of expertise include environmental investigation and remediation, due diligence, contaminant hydrogeology, environmental compliance, impaired asset management and sustainable property development.
