Powell Construction Co.

Bielenberg

Bellevue-based Powell Construction Co. added Tom Bielenberg as senior superintendent. Bielenberg has over 25 years of management and supervision experience in the local construction industry. Powell is a design-build general contractor specializing in commercial, industrial, retail and tenant improvements.

Hermanson Co.

Harshman

Mike Harshman joined Hermanson Co. as account executive in the Critical Environments Group. Harshman spent 16 years designing mechanical systems as a professional engineer, and the last seven years in project management and sales. The CEG team builds and renovates healthcare facilities, data centers, hospitals and laboratories. Hermanson provides mechanical construction, design-build engineering and service/maintenance.

Forma Construction Co.

For its Seattle office, Forma Construction Co. hired Mitch Bowman as safety supervisor, Stacia Fetui as office administrator, and Zachary Vance and Kyle Anderson as project engineers. The company also hired Mike Johnson as an estimator in its Olympia office. Bowman worked on transportation projects for four years at Granite Construction. Fetui has more than eight years of experience in office administration and operations support, including two years at Olympic Foundry. Vance interned at Forma in 2016 and 2017, and holds a bachelor's degree in construction management from Colorado State University. Anderson is working in the Special Projects Division. He has eight years of industry experience, most recently with Sellen Construction. Johnson has more than 15 years of construction experience and was an estimator at Forma from 2003-2013. He is working in the Preconstruction & Estimating Department.

United Recycling & Container

Snohomish-based United Recycling & Container acquired Bark Time Blower Truck Service and Landscape Supply. The addition allows United to offer a closed-loop recycling system: a contractor can demolish a building, have it processed at United, and then use the resulting mulch to landscape areas of the same site.

BitTitan

Bellevue-based BitTitan named Gregg Erickson vice president of customer success. BitTitan helps IT professionals deploy and manage cloud technologies through automation. He was director of customer success and experience at Seattle-based Zipwhip, which provides a cloud-based software platform for business texting, and also worked at K2 Sports and Tableau.

TrueBlue

TrueBlue chief marketing officer Maggie Lower was named a global outstanding LGBT role model by the Financial Times. Lower joined Tacoma-based TrueBlue in January as the company's first CMO. She was recognized for driving cultural change and creating a supportive workplace. TrueBlue also won an award from the National Association of Corporate Directors for its commitment to diversity and inclusion. The company provides workforce solutions.

Accordo Group

Eric Martorano was appointed CEO and board member of Auckland, New Zealand-based Accordo Group. Martorano will be based in the Bellevue office. He has over 25 years of industry experience, including stints as chief revenue officer at Intermedia and general manager of U.S. channel sales at Microsoft. Accordo uses data analytics to help businesses with marketing.

Washington Federal

Thomas J. Kelley is the new board chair of Seattle-based Washington Federal. Kelley succeeds Roy M. Whitehead, who retired last year as CEO but is serving as executive board chair until year end. Kelley has been a board member since 2005. He was managing partner at Arthur Andersen in Eastern Europe and taught accounting at Seattle University. Washington Federal operates 236 branches in the West and Texas.

Zipwhip

Zipwhip, a Seattle cloud software startup for two-way business texting, appointed Bob Chamberlain as CFO and Kirsten Spoljaric as senior vice president of people. Chamberlain was CFO of Big Fish and PopCap Games. Spoljaric was co-founder and vice president of human resources at Mashery, a tech company that was acquired by Intel.

JND Legal Administration

JND Legal Administration is moving its headquarters from Belltown to 35,000 square feet at 1100 Second Ave. JND provides legal management and administration for law firms, corporations and government entities. It has offices in California, Minnesota, New York and Washington, D.C.
