Trent adds partners to Seattle Curtain project

As the DJC first reported last month, an LLC led by Trent Development paid about $20 million for the old Seattle Curtain Co. building at 104 12th Ave. A new seven-story, 274-unit building is planned, designed by Clark Barnes. Now NorthMarq has announced that its Jake Leibsohn and Ron Peterson have arranged $45 million in joint venture equity for the project from Bridge Investment Group. Bridge, of Salt Lake City, joins with Hatteras Sky of Atlanta on the unnamed project. Local firm Trent is led by Trent Mummery and Patrick Ashman. W.G. Clark Construction will build the project. Mummery previously said they hoped to break ground this summer or fall. Blanton Turner will be the property manager when the building opens in two-plus years.

LPC West bolsters team

Rawi

Lincoln Property Co. announced an addition to its West Coast arm, aka LPC West. As senior VP, Omar Rawi will lead its mixed-use development efforts. He makes the move from Greystar. LPC West values its portfolio at $3 billion. Its biggest local project is the 53-story, 568-unit apartment tower planned at 800 Stewart St. It's also developing the future office building on top of U District Station for owner and future tenant the University of Washington.

Reynolds moves to Compass

Compass announced that veteran broker Jeff Reynolds has moved over to its side of the aisle. He makes the move from Windermere Real Estate. He'll be based in Compass' Capitol Hill office. Separately, he'll continue to run his influential blog UrbanCondoSpaces.com.

Public Health — Seattle & King County

Hayes

The University of Washington and UW Alumni Association gave the Alumnus Summa Laude Dignatus Award to Patty Hayes, director of Public Health — Seattle & King County. The annual award is the highest honor bestowed upon a UW graduate. Hayes received bachelor's and master's degrees from the UW School of Nursing, and in 2002 was inducted into the Washington Nursing Hall of Fame. She has over 30 years of experience in public health, policy development and advocacy, and has served in her current role since 2014.

ExtraHop

CRN Magazine honored three members of the ExtraHop global channel team: Mark Fitzmaurice was named to the 2020 Channel Chiefs list; and Leigh Malizia-Carlson and Kathleen Pimentel were named to the 2020 Women of the Channel list. Fitzmaurice, vice president of global channels, was cited for driving company growth through the channel. Malizia-Carlson, senior channel sales manager, and Pimentel, channel sales manager, were cited for helping to develop future generations of women channel leaders. Seattle-based ExtraHop provides enterprise cyber analytics.

Laird Norton Wealth Management

Seattle-based Laird Norton Wealth Management named Kristen Bauer as its new CEO, replacing Robert Moser. Bauer joined the firm last month as president after a stint at Tiedemann Advisors as managing director for the Pacific Northwest and leader of Tiedemann's national family office practice. Prior to that, she was CFO, chief business development officer, chief client service officer and then president at Threshold Group. Bauer is working with Moser until his retirement at the end of June. Moser was CEO for 10 years.

Summit Bank

Eugene, Oregon-based Summit Bank has approved about $114 million in loans for 440 small businesses and nonprofits across Oregon under the Small Business Administration's Paycheck Protection Program. Industries approved by the bank include construction, food and beverage, nonprofit, professional and technical services, manufacturing, health care, arts and entertainment, and retail.

Coal Headwear

Seattle-based Coal Headwear launched a new line of non-surgical face masks to address the coronavirus pandemic. Some of the masks are being custom-made for brands/organizations to sell, including Sub Pop Records, Boeing and MacDonald-Miller. The company said it also is working on masks with filtering systems.
