Aspin

Seattle-based Pemco Mutual Insurance hired Lynne Aspin as a human resources business partner, serving as the primary HR contact and consultant for various internal teams. Aspin was senior HR manager for PCC Community Markets. Prior to that, she held leadership roles on HR teams for Starbucks and Sur La Table.

Silver Creek Capital

Seattle-based Silver Creek Capital named Art Zaske as deputy chief investment officer. Zaske joined Silver Creek in 2006 and previously was managing director and portfolio manager. In his new role, he is overseeing the firm's liquid hedge fund strategies. Prior to joining Silver Creek, Zaske worked at McKinsey & Co.'s in-house asset management group. Silver Creek is an alternative investment boutique firm with a focus on private credit, hedge fund and real asset strategies that include timber and aggregate reserves.

Estate Planning Council of Seattle

Steven Schindler of Perkins Coie is the incoming president of the Estate Planning Council of Seattle. ZoomInfo

Vancouver-based ZoomInfo donated over $100,000 to seven nonprofits in support of equal rights and racial justice, including Urban League of Portland and Urban League of Metropolitan Seattle. A group of service firms — bankers, lawyers, accountants and other advisors — that put together ZoomInfo's recent initial public offering of stock also contributed to the cause. Other funds came from the IPO's travel budget for an investor roadshow that turned into a virtual event due to the pandemic. ZoomInfo sells access to its database of business people and companies to sales, marketing and recruiting professionals.

LeMay — America's Car Museum

In Tacoma, the LeMay car museum will show four drive-in movies during August at its Haub Family Field. The lineup is: “Frozen II” on Aug. 1; “Bumblebee” on Aug. 8; “Toy Story 4” on Aug. 15; and “Raiders of the Lost Ark” on Aug. 22. General admission is $20 per vehicle; museum members are free. Burlington-based Trico Companies promoted Jeff Downs, Chris Green and Kevin Prentice to superintendents. Downs has over 25 years of experience with residential, civil and commercial construction, as well as a recent specialization in medical projects. Green has over 30 years of construction experience, beginning his career as a Navy Seabee and then moving to residential and commercial construction. He recently completed his first year as an instructor with the Construction Industry Training Council of Washington. Prentice has over 25 years of construction experience, early on earning his journeyman card as an ironworker and then expanding his trade knowledge to all aspects of commercial construction.

In Seattle, Laird Norton Wealth Management named Carla C. Wigen as managing director of client services. Wigen joined Laird Norton in 2018 as managing director of fiduciary strategy, and has 25 years of expertise in wealth management, trusts and estate planning, taxes and law. In her new role, she is helping company departments work together and identifying new programs and resources for clients.

Dream Dinners

Kuna

The board of Snohomish-based Dream Dinners appointed Tina Kuna as CEO. Kuna was CFO and held other senior leadership roles at Dream Dinners since founding it in 2002 with Stephanie Allen. Dream Dinners operates 70 kitchens in 22 states where customers prepare their dinners from kits provided by the company. Meals prepared by Dream Dinners' staff also may be picked up or delivered. Sales at the company have surged during the pandemic and the company plans to resume franchising additional kitchens early next year.

King

Nicholas King is the new president of Lockton Companies' Washington office in Bellevue. King comes from Seattle brokerage Parker, Smith & Feek, where he led the firm's real estate practice. He has 10 years of experience with insurance products for the development of apartment, condo, mixed-use and commercial buildings. Lockton has offices around the globe, with headquarters in Kansas City, Missouri; London; and Dubai. It provides insurance, risk management and employee benefits.

Schmieding

Portland-based Standard Insurance Co. (The Standard) promoted Kirsten Schmieding to retirement plan consultant. Schmieding started at The Standard in 2013 as an internal retirement plan consultant in Portland and moved in January to Texas as a retirement plan consultant associate. She is based in Dallas and works with advisors in Texas, Oklahoma and Arkansas.

Tacoma Rainiers

The Tacoma Rainiers partnered with Ivar's to launch Cheneyville Grab N' Go, a drive-thru food service offering ballpark favorites that can be picked up at Cheney Stadium.
